Sometime I have problem with Celcom line. But luckily can switch between 2G and 3G. If 3G line got problem, switch 2G, and vice versa. : Celcom iPhone 5s Discussion Thread | V3 , Package details available

QUOTE(bem69 @ Mar 27 2013, 11:15 AM) Does anyone have a problem like very high usage that's not even possible? I'm getting like 1.4gb, 900mb, 600mb on some days for browsing and going to Melaka. No video streaming. Just wondering, cause I'm wondering if its valid for me to complain. Currently experiencing this problem too! 1.2gb in 3 days when most of the time I have 3G switched off since home & office have wifi. They've capped my speed since I'm on the 1gb plan. So fishy because I've only used around 100mb per month before this. For last month, they shut off my data at 2.5gb usage. I didn't know so I just paid extra to get it running. I think something's seriously wrong with their usage tracking. I've called up CS and they can only say I've used it for browsing? What kind of website incur that much data |

Did you port out of another telco? My wife's 1gb plan doesn't ever get throttled. This is a problem on their end. I mean c'mon, 1.4gb a day for just browsing and facebook? Bullshit I say.I've called up CS and they can only say I've used it for browsing? What kind of website incur that much data |

Did they move the decimal places or what? Have you used other apps to track your data usage and compare to what they recorded on the OCS site? I reset the iPhone usage stats on 27/3 and wanted to compare with what they recorded. They still haven't updated for 27/3 while I can see usage for 28/3-29/3 on the site. So strange. Definitely calling them again on Monday to see what they've come up with. Will quote other people are experiencing the same thing as well and see what they respond. If it's unsatisfactory, I'm definitely reporting to SKMM. |

@ccmd Yes I tried monitoring my usage using an app and Onavo's app. Both recorded usage as I expected it to be and FAR from what Celcom's amount.

QUOTE(bem69 @ Mar 31 2013, 04:31 PM) Me too. I think there's something seriously wrong with their tracking system. 31/3 - I did not switch on 3G at all but they recorded me as using 175mb of data, 169 mb for messaging? CS was super unhelpful. Can't even estimate how long it'll take to solve the issue. |

QUOTE(ccmd @ Apr 1 2013, 12:01 PM) Me too. I think there's something seriously wrong with their tracking system. Yeah, I made the mistake of adding 1GB for RM15. Bad news. The speed throttling is still there and I'm stuck with 1.7GB of Internet usage that I can't finish because of the slow speed. Blasted them again for on Sunday. I think I'll give it one more month. So far, every month in my three months brought me problems with their sucky usage tracking, customer service and bill shock. Their CS do not know how to rectify the problem, better I just talk to the wall. That's about the same progress I get from Celcom. Will have to think of where to port out next. Sigh.31/3 - I did not switch on 3G at all but they recorded me as using 175mb of data, 169 mb for messaging? CS was super unhelpful. Can't even estimate how long it'll take to solve the issue. |

If you did not bond to any Celcom contract, then you are freely to port out anytime.I'm stuck on their bad 3G coverage area, half of the time can't really enjoy the 3G, and bond to 2 years contract, can't port out though, unless paid the penalty... What if you tried to bring up this case to SKMM first, let's Celcom work hard and treat your case seriously. |

I was suffering with digi's 2 year plan hahaha. I'll probably jump ship to Maxis Surfmore75. QUOTE(rmvalues @ Apr 2 2013, 03:00 PM) then it's good for you. and thanks to mnp. Well, I just got a call from Celcom and they admit that their data tracking was problematic. They gave me 4.3 GB of data for my usage. Since my billing cycle ends on the 8th I requested for 1GB to be used this month and the rest on the next month. This was on the phone. Now I got my speed back. But looks like I just have 1GB to use while my actual usage left is actually 1.570MB. And they're still putting me on a 5GB old plan and not on the new 3GB plan I paid for. you can jump over here and there until you found a satisfactory provider. Sigh, at least I have my speed back. I have no idea if they are ever going to put me on the 3GB plan. As much as I like a 5gb plan, the data tracking is horrendous. I get speed throttled for using less than 2GB actual data. |
