QUOTE(bem69 @ Mar 27 2013, 11:15 AM) Does anyone have a problem like very high usage that's not even possible? I'm getting like 1.4gb, 900mb, 600mb on some days for browsing and going to Melaka. No video streaming. Just wondering, cause I'm wondering if its valid for me to complain. For last month, they shut off my data at 2.5gb usage. I didn't know so I just paid extra to get it running. I think something's seriously wrong with their usage tracking. Currently experiencing this problem too! 1.2gb in 3 days when most of the time I have 3G switched off since home & office have wifi. They've capped my speed since I'm on the 1gb plan. So fishy because I've only used around 100mb per month before this. I've called up CS and they can only say I've used it for browsing? What kind of website incur that much data browser & YouTube history did not turn up anything. Asked them to investigate but don't know how long it'll take them to get back to me...

QUOTE(bem69 @ Mar 29 2013, 08:58 AM) This is exactly the same problem I'm experiencing! Did you port out of another telco? My wife's 1gb plan doesn't ever get throttled. This is a problem on their end. I mean c'mon, 1.4gb a day for just browsing and facebook? Bullshit I say. Nope, been with celcom since forever. This is the first time it happened. Did they move the decimal places or what? Have you used other apps to track your data usage and compare to what they recorded on the OCS site? I reset the iPhone usage stats on 27/3 and wanted to compare with what they recorded. They still haven't updated for 27/3 while I can see usage for 28/3-29/3 on the site. So strange. Definitely calling them again on Monday to see what they've come up with. Will quote other people are experiencing the same thing as well and see what they respond. If it's unsatisfactory, I'm definitely reporting to SKMM.

QUOTE(bem69 @ Mar 31 2013, 04:31 PM) Me too. I think there's something seriously wrong with their tracking system. 31/3 - I did not switch on 3G at all but they recorded me as using 175mb of data, 169 mb for messaging? DataMonitor showed only 45mb usage thru wifi. CS was super unhelpful. Can't even estimate how long it'll take to solve the issue.

QUOTE(bem69 @ Apr 2 2013, 06:28 PM) Well, I just got a call from Celcom and they admit that their data tracking was problematic. They gave me 4.3 GB of data for my usage. Since my billing cycle ends on the 8th I requested for 1GB to be used this month and the rest on the next month. This was on the phone. Now I got my speed back. But looks like I just have 1GB to use while my actual usage left is actually 1.570MB. And they're still putting me on a 5GB old plan and not on the new 3GB plan I paid for. Sigh, at least I have my speed back. I have no idea if they are ever going to put me on the 3GB plan. As much as I like a 5gb plan, the data tracking is horrendous. I get speed throttled for using less than 2GB actual data. Good to hear you got a solution. I'm still waiting to hear from Celcom.

QUOTE(bem69 @ Apr 3 2013, 11:21 AM) You should just call them again to ask for the status. They sure take their time if you don't turn on the loudspeaker. Called up CS today and they said report has been closed but somehow they failed to notify me Usage on 25-26th was invalidated and they gave me 1gb of data, starting from 2/4. But no reason was given on why there was an error in the first place, and no guarantee that the error will not be repeated. I'm going to monitor these coming weeks and see whether they've actually rectified the problem.
