hello newbie here, may I ask something regarding the rm98/month rate plan? "Monthly Commitment fee after rebate for the first 10 months" what is this mean? why the advance bill payment is rm150 but Celcom First Rebate to be paid over 10 months is rm230? so the monthly fee is 98 or 75 ? ><

QUOTE(adiyon84 @ Dec 27 2012, 11:20 AM) Same goes to me. I usually will get 6Mbps in KLCC area and at my home (kota damansara). Other places like Taman Dagang Ampang or Ara Damansara..around 3-5Mbps. Using plan RM98 too. same here. area shah alam, i will get 6Mbps with less than 100ms latency.

For the first 10 months, got rebate of RM23 each month, so u just need to pay RM98-RM23=RM75. So total rebate is RM23x10=RM230. The advance bill payment is RM150....which mean the first two months, you dont have to pay if your usage didnt exceed the limit.

QUOTE(LordReaper @ Dec 27 2012, 09:17 PM) so the rebate is like free discount ? or you need to pay upon sign up ? When u sign up...pay RM1888 for iPhone + RM150 advance fee = RM2038. After that 1st - 10th month, pay RM75 (the advance fee will be deducted from your bill for 1st and 2nd month) , 11th - 12th month pay RM98. This is my interpretation if not mistaken. If you make more voice calls or SMS (>267), then you have to pay more than RM75.

QUOTE(theberry @ Dec 27 2012, 08:50 PM) hi guys, my iphone contract will end tomorrow which is 28th. can i terminate it on the day? If the contract is 12 month, then after 12 month you can terminate and change to other operator or change plan whichever you want. You're not tie to Celcom anymore. if terminate earlier than contract, you'll be penalize RM500. If you buy the with 24 month contract, after 24 month only you can terminate or change without penalty.

QUOTE(decavalera @ Dec 22 2012, 08:10 AM) Found this under the celcom iPhone 5 Plans terms & condition. Item no 6. When customer has fully utilized his Mobile Internet/Data Broadband, system will automatically block his usage and if customer wants to continue, customer can purchase Volume i.e. Fair Usage Policy – Refer to Celcom Mobile Broadband: Fair Usage Policy.Couldnt find the Fair Usage Policy No bill shock (due to data plan)= Yes Seems like Maxis has taken Celcom perk(throttle) & Celcom make the opposite move (but at least they stop the data plan) thanks for the reply. i am thinking to use this plan for long time. let say if i buy new iphone next year, i think i will buy outright and use this plan cz it seems that the commitment is cheap (RM73 for RM40 call+3 gb data) for 20 months. if i take the 1-yr contract, then the RM 73 commitment is only valid for 10 months. is it there is a new policy where if the data exceeded, celcom will straightway block the data? sure? think i'm gonna ask them later to confirm this. @decavalera, Fair Usage Policy is undert online customer service. u have to register ur number first to check it from time to time. i'm using celcom broadband so know a bit about data usage.

Haish, with that price already can buy 64GB (RRP Price)... Sometimes i wondering, if i sell here in Garage Sales with same or slightly higher (about 100) than retail price, people dont want to buy, said its too high, asking for lower price, bla bla bla... But when they go to shop outside, they got conned easily with much higher price...
