minimize your wakelock, reduce update interval for exchange, enable data when you're really need it. average heavy user around 5 hours screen on time. it's practically normal if you get 5hr+

Seriously n frankly I have tested so many roms ( tw, cm10, AOKP, mix of cm+AOPK) battery life difference is insignificant. In all roms battery life quite similar to stock. If you want to test custom rom to improve battery life not worth the effort

I'm not sure what kind of extended battery life you are looking for. I'm on stock rom and not rooted and I can get up to 2 days medium usage and can get up to 1 day heavy usage.

Why need to find ROMs that save batt life? Note II has great battery capacity, whatever ROM i use, it last me for 16 hours with 4 hours screen on. That's more than enough for me, i dont have to use car charger anymore biggrin.gif
