guys,sorry for noob question again.

i'm planning to root my phone, but these are issue that i'm concerning.

1)i don't play any rom or kernal...so once i rooted will i able to get back the stock kernal or rom?

2)once OTA is available, can i update it to rooted phone? or have to un-root it first then only update?

p/s: the reason i wanna root it cuz of some apps may require rooted phone.

1 - Depending on what rooting method u use , some will flash your recovery to CWM instead of stock . However , kernel and rom will be still stock .

2 - Not sure about OTA but using KIES , u will not be able to update new firmware once rooted IF i am not mistaken . But u can always download the latest rom from some websites and upgrade it manually via Odin

can u recommend me which method is the easiest and will be in stock rom/kernal?

that is why, if they are really not too patient to wait, just root and install the leak firmwares or custom roms/kernels or other region....

Where can I get the leak firmwares?
As I just rooted my phone and no intend to play any roms or kernals...

Btw, if I unroot my phone will my data gone?

Rooting will not delete any stuffs
No need root to update official leak firmware
Leaked firmware from www.sammobile.com. you need register in order to download

I always stick to stock kernel
On swap memory only I use Perseus 29
Latest monx rom I took only 40 mins to download on my P1 network
*
Can I update the firmware from any country?

If use manual update is it have to update via odin?

Common hissing sound faced by other users too. Samsung claimed that its normal. You can replace one if you want
*
even thought u got a new one doesn't guarantee u won't get the hissing sound again...

better save your petrol money by going to service center tongue.gif
