Hello, i just got interested again in the game and would like to purchase the expansion. I checked Offgamer.com but it is out of stock. I tried to purchase online through the gemstore but for some reason it will not recognize the @symbol in my name. Any other place/way for me to purchase the expansion?

If you want your moneys worth you should wait to buy the next expansion because it will include everything the ones before it, otherwise you will be like the many other people who weren't aware and ended up basically buying the game twice. Hot includes core game, the next expansion will include core game, hot, and the new expansion, so it's best to buy the next expansion that covers everything. For now just play the core game, I am just like you, bought the base but only started playing fairly recent (Dec 21st) but I bought the game on launch heh. There is a lot to do so don't worry about that. Unless you are reaaaaaaallly fond of wanting elite specs and masteries and some other stuff like raids etc and don't mind buying the next expansion at full price, then by all means get the HoT one. Whichever you choose you'll still have fun

I just came back to the game recently. Is HoT expansion worth it?. It's odd that AN doesn't offer HoT as an upgrade at a lower price to existing game owner instead of bundling it with the core game and sell at $50.

worth it if you already finished with core Tyria content and nothing left to do, because it adds much new areas and spec for your character, as well as new prof.

there is no upgrade pack at lower price, that is the expansion price, the core game comes as free. so if next expansion you would get core+HOT+new expansion for 1 price.

a while ago you can get HoT for RM134 with discount+monthly coupon on funstockdigital but seems like sold out for now.

Is anyone still playing this game? Just got 2 level 80 and wondering if I should get HoT. Seems like there will be a new expansion but didn't see any info about it.

And where would be the cheapest place to get HoT? The f2p restrictions are driving me crazy.

expansion is only after the laast living story episode i think, which is coming up next but dunno when. prob aug-sept? or maybe later.
