WvW Alliance is going permanently live finally! Battle it out in an epic 3 way fight with your friends and guildmates. World server will not matter anymore.
New raid Wing 8 is coming after a long wait
Housing is coming!

If you're a returning player, you have 1 free world transfer if not used before. Some have better pings on EU but most are defaulted to NA. You can create a dummy account to test the ping as the base game is free. Do not delete your old characters are they've accumulated valuable birthday gifts.

Expansions are on sales! Totally worth it to get at least Heart of Thorns+Path of Fire expansion with TONS of content

How many still playing? I'm on EU vabbi veteran for bandwagon.

if you meant SEA players, they're still mostly on NA. Server names are going away due to wvw alliance but region of EU/NA still remains.
if you meant the in game population, still very much a big zerg of players especially with new maps and legendaries added

Hello guys, just started this game, any active Malaysian discord or guild?

unfortunately not for msian but there's an active SEA/SG guild in NA server.

ohh, but why NA server though, thought the ping is higher than EU

when ppl first start play the game, it defaults to NA unless ppl change it during account/character creation but that option isnt that obvious

there's an option to switch to EU server which is free for the first time and 500 gems thereafter to switch.

some has lower ping on NA some on EU for msians

ahh I see, I am playing on EU servers, getting around 200ish pings. Think I'll stick to EU for now, thanks bro
