Just came back from CapSquare. Some info for all who are interested. I see on the advertisement banner placed all around at CapSquare floors mentioning tonight's iPhone 5 launch is only for invited members.
But I am not sure if they also accept those who are only walk-ins and does not have invites. Just sharing this to everyone. |

Just test Malaysia iPhone set. Front camera not as nice as iPhone 4S. Maybe the demo set is faulty I'm not sure. And tmr pavilion launch iPhone 5 also. Start queue at 10am

Yeah, but for iPhone 4 launch.. before we got into the hall (room), we still have to queue from outside.. but this is worse.. queue outside like under tents covering the crowd from rain.. terrible.. maybe have to wait till 2am some more.

hello all bros, would like to ask you all one question, hope you all able to help on this. For this few days during Capsquare iphone5 launching event, if we signup any plan and buy the iphone5, are we able to buy the phone with 12 months 0% installment plans? Cause i just called into 123 and ask, the CS staff told me that during this event they unable to provide the 0% installment, which mean we have to pay the full amount either with cash or credit card.....
Can anyone help to clarify this? cause most probably i will buy 2 phones together around RM4000. Thanks |

I don't think it's fair to over generalizing people who went for the launch because they wanted to show off or out of their mind. Most do not know how bad the Q is in the first place and how sucks capsquare and maxis organiser really is this time. Also most who opted to get the phone with telcos is because the prices are much lower than RRP as they already subscribed to data plan anyway. And the main reason is these people really love their iPhone and they are excited and can't wait to own and use it, not necessarily to brag or show off...

Being part of the same group of ppl who appreciates the finer things life. Perhaps might even meet a great friend there. It is special, nothing like the boring of Samsung launches. Totally no excitement feel. |

If you all notice some of the black set of the i5, you will see little spot white at the antenna area, not quite noticable. You are not allow to RMA / Exchange Better choose white .... |

Has anyone checked the settings under cellular? Only has the option for 3G. No lte. I know we don't have lte but the default option for other countries is lte not 3G

I queued up again at KLCC after Capsquare last night and I got myself another 32GB. Not sure about the stock but the staff said dont worry about stock in KLCC Maxis centre.

For those pre-book 64GB please take note, my fren lining up for almost 3 hours when it's his turn, the counter told my fren his Pre-book 64GB NO MORE STOCK due to many ppl who Pre-book 32GB change their mind & get 64GB on the spot... And Maxis offering my fren 2 options which is either change to 32GB or go to Maxis centre next week to get 64GB. My fren was like WTF big big and really dissapoint with Maxis on this iP5 launch !
Really shame on Maxis and kesian my fren and those who can't get what they Pre-booked unit set. |

lol i went to maxis kl sentral at 9 and got 2 person buying there at that time. no one at all and im the 3rd one.
happily bought mine. no need to rush and queue lol. after that got like 5-6 people queuing. |

At the first place, maxis shouldn't sell outright, and yes maxis only care for the sales for plan.
Let say 1000ppl get confirm slot for iphone 5 but doesn't mean 100% people will go buy, that why maxis sell to other who sign plan but shouldn't sell outright for this, because it a events, still got another 2more days. Many people will F... |

I'm so dissapointed with maxis. Got ROI for 32gb tomorrow slot. But since i get sms from maxis saying theres no stock for 32gb iphone,i skip capsquare... Now at maxis sunway pyramid..the Q quite long..average waiting time is 3 hours.
