I don't think it's fair to over generalizing people who went for the launch because they wanted to show off or out of their mind. Most do not know how bad the Q is in the first place and how sucks capsquare and maxis organiser really is this time. Also most who opted to get the phone with telcos is because the prices are much lower than RRP as they already subscribed to data plan anyway. And the main reason is these people really love their iPhone and they are excited and can't wait to own and use it, not necessarily to brag or show off...

Even corporate side oso downgrade compared to the 4/4S, this looks worst than a cheap wedding dinner

there are 101 ways to get the phone faster than q at maxis, even at RRP. The only reason to Q is the subsidided price.
