if stock use jeboo kernel lo.
philz kernel to avoid super brick bug + cwm recovery

samsung JB roms has lots of ram
826MB total,

average use 500MB, which leaves 300+MB free ram. not bad.

it does makes a difference.
if i downloading songs in kugou music player,
and browse using chrome, my download can continue.

if i remember correctly, when i use cm10, if i browse using chrome,
the download sure pause.

i have wakelock issues.
so frustrating. phone doesnt goes into deepsleep.
no idea whats causing it. stuck at 200MHz all the time when it happens.

it just happens randomly. usually when my batter around 60-50% then
it wakelock.

i have better battery stats installed. but no idea how to use.
anyone with experience about better battery stats please help me.
this is the first time i have this shit and it sucks.

i did google but search the wrong direction. i was looking for wakelocks, and better battery stats.
and i mainly focus on "no data connection" "no or unknown signal" since they have the highest duration.
thanks again for the tip. i owe you big time.

never thought the answer was in s3 forum.
i have tested and indeed the issue is USB OTG.
everytime i unplug USB otg, it wont ever go back to deep sleep.

the solution to this issue is to NOT unmount by pulling down notification tray and tap unmount.
instead, go to settings>storage, and unmount from there. confirm to work. no wakelock

wanted to buy the 2000mAh one, but cant find it anywhere.
glad i didn't bought it.

because i bought spare battery from garage sales.
same 1650mah from Brotan for just rm29

having two 1650mah battery (2x1650=3400mah)
and a external charger, is way more convenient.
grateful that s2 back cover is so easy to pop open.

i see the word siyah, straight away duwan to download already.
v5.5 serves me well, and jeboo kernel solves the lockscreen freeze and exynos exploit.
the only problem i have left is bad battery life due to unknown wakelock, which is solved now,
its the unmount bug that affects s3 and note1&2. solution is to unmount from settings.

using anything related to siyah and you'll bound to have some sod, random reboot, bad battery life etc.
dual boot and fancy kernel tweaks is not worth having the mentioned issues.
there was 0 mention of sod in disaster rom thread, expect to see lots of them pop out soon.

just take a look at few pages back in this forum,
all the complains about jellybam is related to dorimanx (modified siyah)
as long you use cm10 kernel in jellybam, non of these issues will happen.

i read through xperia S forum, they dont even have official cyanogenmod, very kesian.
their camera isnt working on unofficial cm10.

Exactly what I would do.
Note 2 screen on time easily more than 6 hours. Super amazing.

3g video call is a samsung touch wiz thing.
Nexus phone confirm no.

That's the sacrifice u make by using aosp

U cn always download the app to hear radio.
Example hitz fm app, fly fm app etc from play store.

I thought 3g watch dog obsolete since ics android already got data monitor.

Battery usage.
Getting good battery life after realize how to overcome wake lock created due to unmounting Usb otg. Realized that photo sphere uses a lot of battery. Cpu stuck at maz when rendering photo sphere.

Method 2 says bluetooth will stop working?

Nothing wrong with changing platform.
We are free to choose.
I kinda regret getting nexus 7 instead of ipad mini.
Having android phone n ios tablet is the best Imo.
Having 2 android device kinda redundant.

But some bad turn of events in apple world.
Apparently ios6 no jailbreak yet. Probably very hard because apple close all previous loophole.
Another bad news is installous had been shut down.
Ios side seems less tempting at the moment.

Use triangle away app. Buy in play store or get free in xda.
