About the battery, its not happen to me. Very happy with it for now.

battery for me is approximately the same dint notice much difference
Not sure about controlling android device but if control computer can try unified remote (must connected to same network)

Made in China. The quality and workmanship is good. The PU leather feel nice and soft. It doesn't look cheap at all.

The case make N7 slightly bulkier but provides pretty good protection. You can opt for Blurex ultra-slim version if otherwise.

I would like to avoid matte as afraid will reduce the screen quality. However, if I go for a clear type, will it cause extra glare or reflection?

I don't mind to pay a little more for a good quality screen protector. Got any brand to recommend?
