Any good 8++W PSU? Currently using Corsair HX850 (already 8year+) , going to replace it soon.

I was using the Silverstone strider plus 500w for 3 years until lately the PC randomly shuts off. Not sure what's the reason but decided to get a new PSU. I got the Seasonic focus plus 750w gold import from US and the random shut off solved. I guess its time to retire Silverstone.

Please stay away from Seasonic PSU, their PSU got a lot of problems.

Since I less on OC-ing, I had checked the voltage, if 700-750W still can handle my rig. Others than that two brand , got any choices? how about Cooler Master .

hi, have a question.
i am using Xigmatek Tauro 500W PSU for 3years plus already.
recently i tried power on my computer, the motherboard running but nothing shows up on monitor, not even bios.

i disconnected the cable on my Optical drive and my PC can turn on.

i check online and suspected my PSU aging capacitor will deteriorate over time right?

i calculate power supply using Outervision and my Load wattage is about 470Watt.

should i change new PSU/ higher Watt?

where will i be able to get these products?
lowyat? or otheerelectronic stores like senheng, senq will sell too?

aiya i hate this type of cable dont know why psu company doing it now
also scare if i run single cable with 2x 6+2pin will overdo the connector for my 1080 amp

1)Super Flower Silver Eco 500W Full Modular 80+ PSU=rm248
2)Seasonic S12Ii-520=RM269

Full Japanese caps doesn't always mean better longevity.  The problem is the Seasonic S12II is based on an older platform, i.e. group regulated and double-forward design.  This makes it unsuitable for modern machines

It's also worth noting that Super Flower is the OEM behind some of the best PSUs in the market

Modular board has very low load and the caps are polymer so it's not that much of a concern

Super Flower is a tier 1 PSU maker (at the same level with Seasonic), and I highly doubt they will use some very low grade components on the modular PCB

Also modular cables are great for keeping your case internals as tidy as possible, especially in smaller cases

All price are around my budget. But im more to full modular as i using matx casing.

Hey guys, so i recently bought a pre built pc that comes with a Deepcool DA700 power supply unit  (link below ) but the cable for power adapter it comes with is not for Malaysian power socket.

Im assuming in terms of compatiblity power wise it should not be a problem. But I want to buy another power supply adapter that can fit into a Malaysian socket.

My question is, is there any specification I need to be aware of? In terms of voltage or whatnot?

I intend to keep the power supply unit. Just looking to replace to power cable from PSU to electrical socket. Worried that there are some specs that I need to take note of. The power supply is working, but I can't bear to always needing a universal adapter to plug into the socket 

hye, izzit safe to use pcie 6 pin to 8 pin adapter to power up RX580.
im using Silverstone ST56 560W which only have 2x pcie 6 pin.

Existing Rig:
I5-6400
1x8GB DDR Ram
1x1TB HDD
Corsair VS450
Without, CD-Rom, SSD, or others.
Can I add on 1050ti or 1060 with existing VS450?
Or I needed to upgrade PSU?

Hi guys, I am clueless about power voltage stuff and I am moving to Japan for long term and I have a desktop, using Corsair GS600 and I wonder if it works in Japan due to difference of voltage?

Is it better to buy a new PC there or should I bring mine over to Japan (assuming if the voltage can work fine)
