Looks like mATX case to me. Good chance the PSU is ATX. I suggest bringing it to shop and see if you can upgrade the power supply. The newbie guide to power supply units, Questions and comments are welcomed

QUOTE(AlexS @ Mar 8 2015, 06:30 PM) Current machine specs are Yeah, that's not a good PSU. Look for Seasonic M12 II Evo 520W at RM279 or Seasonic S12 II 620W at RM299. You need PSU with more stamina for "high end" (mid range for current gen) cards.i5 3450 Gigabyte h77m-D3H Powercolor radeon 4870 (trying to upgrade to 6950) Kingston DDR3 4GB + 2GB Four WD HDD 2.5 HDD current Psu Xigmatek XCP-A500 |

QUOTE(samkian @ Mar 20 2015, 11:29 PM) Ya I already connect additional power for it. It seems that windows can detect it in Device Manager, but whenever I plug in my USB 3.0 devices, it does't light up. The motherboard spec does not tell you whether if it is PCIE 2.0 or not. Try putting it on 2nd PCIE x16 slot.[attachmentid=4380634] [attachmentid=4380635] This post has been edited by TristanX: Mar 21 2015, 12:58 PM |

QUOTE(Sentinel92 @ Mar 24 2015, 04:12 PM) Been using a Corsair AX860i for about a year now. Was recently hit by a spate of BSODs and crashes, which unfortunately covered up my real problem. I've removed the offending TP Link Drivers which was causing my crashes, but on top of the error IDs pointing to the drivers, I noticed Error ID41 pops up a lot. Now I still get hit by Error ID 41, which relates to power and unnatural shutdowns. I don't even see the Blue screens now that the PC resets itself instantly thanks to removal of the corrupted drivers. Is it a PSU issue? Some people said it RAM but I did a full check and nothing was wrong on the hardware side. This type of issue needs 1 by 1 checking. I suggest you check the disk for errors. It may be corrupted Windows installation as well. After that, borrow a PSU and test it. Then the motherboard. |

QUOTE(Sentinel92 @ Mar 24 2015, 05:16 PM) I've used Command Prompt to check the entire system and also the drives. All fine. The problematic TP Link drivers are dead and gone. I will proceed to do a memory check as well as Aida64 stress test. Did you do the command below?PSU borrowing might be a bit difficult though. See how. Also, this only happens when playing BF4. Doesn't happen for any other games. sfc /scannow |

QUOTE(Sentinel92 @ Mar 24 2015, 06:14 PM) That's the first thing I did lol. Second one was the disk check where I had to restart the pc. Both came back fine. Check the hardware connection. Reseat the RAM.I don't even see a blue screen man. Just wham bam restart in 2 seconds and my pc acts like nothing just happened. I'll restart it again since it lags abit after the crash. Then all smooth sailing from there. |

QUOTE(Sentinel92 @ Mar 25 2015, 02:53 AM) I think it's either my mobo or my PSU. Why? 50C is fine for the motherboard. AX series should be able to handle 50C as well. I think you better send your PC to check PSU or mobo. Or you can place your rig on better environment. Like next to open door or infront of window. My motherboard hits 50c during gaming. I know my room temps is around 31-33 and my bottom rad is pull mode, so hot air does come up, but 50c is a bit on the high side. Plus I think I need to check the surge protection feature. My AX860i, I didn't install Corsair Link. So my PSU fan is silent, and until starts when it hits a certain temperature. But even when it does, only at 40% speed. I configured and installed Link so now it's permanently at 60% fan speed. Doesn't breach 35c even when gaming. My total consumption during game was 400W tops anyways, half of my capacity. Hopefully it'll solve some and doesn't restart again. |
