fujitsu warranty 3 years??

or certain model only?

you should have 3 years warranty right ??? why u need to pay ???

is it same goes to dell, acer and compaq extended warranty ?

I'm using the C series bought in Aug 2003. Yea i was at the service centre last year and they told me it's only for 1 year. Somemore the girl list out nicely the prices i have to pay if i wanted to fix my laptop ;

Are you guys certain it's 3 years domestic warranty? Checked it with the service centre?

odd. i have the exact same problem as u, although the broken lcd indicator was made by me . they quoted rm80 for the lcd indicator (didn't bother to change, not useful anyway) and rm120 for labour charges. u got rm20 discount on everything? mmmm

anybody knows why my s2110 batt cannot last more than 2h plus?
is it because i use it for gaming?
but even if i use for surfing also didnt last me very long.
it makes me love my Ibook more bcos it last me 4 hours.

guys , FYI , Fujitsu provide 1 year Local Warranty and second , third years is International Warranty~ ^^

hey, does anyone know how to open up a fujitsu s2020? in my previous post i mentioned that my laptop was sent for the fan repair. ok, so i paid rm120 for the labour charge and they replaced my fan. got back the laptop after 2 days. but i really only started using the laptop again 2 weeks later (i live in malacca, lazy to go back to kl to get my laptop back).

and guess what, after using it for 3 days, all of a sudden, the keyboard malfunctioned. suddenly my s, t, 7, F10, comma, back slash and a few other keys stopped working. i went into a fit of rage. my bolster and pillow flew zig zag across my room, but they keyboard was the same. i reformatted my laptop, but they keyboard was still the same. called up fujitsu and they said their engineer need to check what's wrong, and after that they'll decide whether to charge me another rm120  . bought a usb keyboard for rm17 to calm myself down.

so does anyone have any experience in taking apart a fujitsu s2020?

what do you mean by AC sensor??

Enquired it from Micro-D. They are selling at RM 130 but out of stock currently. Fujitsu in lowyat has one unit selling at RM 150.
From U.S, it's as cheap as USD 12.

S2110 using 333Mhz DDR1 ram..
If i buy 400Mhz to plug in, izzit ok? because i heard latest ram more cheap than old ram...

i heard S2110 this model wanna out of stock already....

Hi to all Fujitsu-an, especially S2110 users.

I have read about your reviews & some others; could I check with you about the following again?

a. The battery life: is it 3 hours or 2 hours?

b. The HDD noise, is it really that bad?

c. Since the Turion is running on 64bits, do you think running XP Pro 64bits would make it run faster? 

d. Heat level, is it really that bad?  Think while at the airport, can't really find that many table to put the laptop on, so most probably would have to put it on the lap

What a relieve.  The exclude of labour is a bit challenging as still have to pay when comes to warranty.....

I own a Fujitsu C-7651 (Bought in US 4 years ago), its a P3-M model. Quite a good laptop, done a lot with it, gaming, photoshop, coreldraw and many power taxing stuffs.

But of late the Combo drive is beginning to select CDs to read. Might wanna send to Micro-D to have the PCMCIA checked out as well. Anyone know the max HDD that I can upgrade mine to?

Is the number 1-800 88 3309 correct? Please share.......
