If your total screen on time also 4 hours..then it's normal.
I did post my screenshot showing 4hours screen on time (battery from 100 - 3%) when doing non-stop browsing..lolz

freeze/force close is different than shutdown. If phone goes into shutdown mode means something is very wrong. Better bring to service centre.

She doing updates using FOTA is it..? Try do factory reset but make sure do a backup first and put that backup files in external sdcard as factory reset will wipe the internal storage.

Try factory reset first before sending it to service centre.
Upgrade from ICS to JB highly recommended to do factory reset right after upgrade.

You should do factory/hard reset via the phone setting NOT from recovery 3e once you upgrade from ICS to JB.
Since your phone still on stock unrooted..it better that you bring the phone to service centre for free firmware reflash.

The outer shell (black) is hard plastic while inner shell (red) is soft rubber..right..?
Does it easy to take the casing out from the phone since the power and volume button holes sitting in the hard shell..same like Otterbox Commuter.

Always read first bout ExynosAbuse apk in xda thread. There you'll find whether it success or not in rooting S3 phone.

Flash player can be sideload from Adobe official website.
