Errm, forgive me for my ignorance, but can you please enlighten me on why in the world would SPM is tantamount to taufu???

it is so easy, the moment you see the paper you will smile, the more you continue to answer the paper you feel like wanna laugh in the exam hall cos it is impossible to not get A in those subject that you like (you work hard on).

somehow i still get C for History (Boring like for real) and Science in Pertanian (wtf right? my school forced us to take that thing)

Others are just easy....all you need to do?
Work hard, and study smart.
(Wrk hard = do more practice)
(Study smart = only study those that is important and see what had came out last year, your tuition teacher will do job for you probably ....)

dont ever trust those LAST MINUTES TIPS 1 month before SPM ....all are bullshiieet, why i say this? ( been there done that...look at my Sejarah and you will know why )

Fast? I don't think so, I've heard rumors spreading around by my class monitor that says that Penang Free School has completed the whole Add Maths syllabus. And another more insane thing is that my friend from a SBP says that he's going to cover up the whole Physic syllabus anytime now. Darn, I'm a slowpoke....

Been failing since PMR . But my teacher said SPM, oral will help so the marks can go higher abit.

Very poor BC although a Chinese although scored an A in PMR

No point to teach so fast. The students learn nothing. Take STPM as example, due to the modular system and as being the first batch to sit for the exam, nobody knows how to face it so my Physics teachers go extremely fast so that he could cover the syllabus in time. He finished one chapter in about one week, completing 7 in approximately 10 weeks (due to interruptions like CNY, March holiday), but then we learnt nothing.

Fast is useless if you learn nothing. Just be patient.

Today my area (Butterworth) is not as hazy as yesterday so I hope the air condition in you guys' area would be better too...take care and drink more water ... :0

Btw, is there anyone here taking part in SSMSC (Secondary School Mathematics & Science Competition) which is organized by Hong Kong Polytechnic University?

May I know which school are you from, I am somewhere in Penang mainland as well

Seem like I know you as I guess only one school in the BW region join the HK Polytechnic competition

Perhaps you are not familiar with the one of the Pythagorean trigonometric identities:

sec² x = 1 + tan² x

because substituting that, you have

2 – sec² x = 2 – (1 + tan² x) = 1 – tan² x

so that the entire expression can be reduced using double-angle formula

2 tan x
------------ = tan (2x)
1 – tan² x

Please don't be disillusioned along the way . I know SPM is stressful but don't turn it into a rat race . It's not about who's the fastest in finishing the syllabus . It's about who's the one who understands everything before SPM . It doesn't end at SPM .

After receiving my midterm results , my principal decided to include me in our school's excellence program . I rejected it , because it's unfair to the other students . And I'm sick of the talk about SPM being an exam that determines what you'll be in the future .

I want to enjoy the journey leading to SPM . The result is a bonus . I see so many people saying " after SPM , I'll be free . " But the truth is far from that .
