Will there be any case that they bank in the lesser amount of what you borrowed, but they require you to pay the full amount?

how much loan did you all got from ptptn? minimum, partial or full? i'm quite worried about this...lets say my dad salary around 5k, how much can i get? thx!!!

hav to look at ur household income if ur mom oso working , siblings working....
5K i think kinda difficult to get, get oso half or partial.

there is only full, half or partial ( this one i oso not sure coz some claim theirs is partial, which may be Half actually). no depends....

there are 3 actually.

for salary below 2k or 2.5k, you entitled to full (let say 16k)
2/2.5 to 4/5k(iirc), you get partial (13k)
more than that, least (10k)

I think its based on the time your going to finish the debt though.
I you pay faster,cheaper you'll get.
Maybe.That's what I've heard.

3% now.
Initially it was 4% when it had first class honours conversion to free loan, after it was abolished in July 2005, it had reduced to 3% now. smile.gif

it is 3% pa calculated monthly basis, if u pay month or pay more, it wil not be 3% pa, slightly less

I calculate myself, and each month can get similar close to the interest which charge on me....
just check....it's 2.808% biggrin.gif

Actually when we need pay back PTPTN loan? i already stop my PTPTN loan since 1 year ago lo as i further study at other college..

one of the option which enables you without being charged with interest (6 month time period after your agreement end), after that 6 month from agreement, interest start counts.

if i pay up before the 6 months i only pay the money they loan to me right? without any extra am i correct?
