QUOTE(doinkz_gaara @ Aug 20 2007, 02:38 AM) Edited : Internet problem It was implemented when I first applied for the opening account in CIMB (last time known as BCB) in 2004, I got worried too but the officer told me the ATM card actually plays a role as the saving account book too and they don't provide the users with that book anymore. Initially, it was very troublesome to me as I need to check my balance from the ATM until I registered for online banking last year and now everything is just a click away. Added on August 20, 2007, 2:39 amAnd thanks alot! =) Hehe, my mom was kinda worried that it doesn't have bank book. I think it is trying to be environmental friendly, imagine how many trees have to be cut down to accommodate the increasing number of account holders? This thing was also implemented for Maybank. Unfortunately, I'm one of the customers who doesn't have the account book but the online banking is more than enough. This post has been edited by fruitie: Aug 20 2007, 02:47 AM |

You have to do manual payment to your college/Uni. another one, they would bank in around 70% of your fees for that semester to your college account, the remaining to your bank account. If the fees paid to your college/uni is not sufficient to cover tuition fees, you need to use that 30% that are banked into your account and do manual payment. |

QUOTE(doinkz_gaara @ Aug 20 2007, 06:04 PM) How do we know whether they banked in 70% yea? from my own experience of loaning 13k/yearCause my 1st payment was less than what I am supposed to get if my calculations are correct. o_O for the 1st semester, they will bank in around half of the amount, which is ~6k in which 4k bank it to your college/uni account, the remaining balance to your account. while on 2nd semester, you will either receive none, or about 2k the last sem, you will receive the remaining balance. always check with your college/uni account of yours regarding the payment of PTPTN check your bank balance too. make sure everything are in order. |

O_O So I think I should consult my college right whether did PTPTN banked in for them as well? If your college/Uni have online finance kiosk for student to check payment of tuition fees etc(like MMU), you guys can view it directly from the site, as the payment is deducted directly from the $ that you owe them(college/Uni) |

Yes, you will receive payment not all in 1 time.
They divided it into few portions. And usually, first payment, you are deducted around RM100-200(iirc) for some processing fees. Other than that you should not worry that much. Just calculate by the time you are going to graduate whether the amount you applied same with the amount you received. |
