I heard that if your family income exceeds RM2000 you might not get full loan or even no loan for you, is it true?
When applying PTPTN, what document do we need to attach to prove our income? Or does 'bilangan tanggungan' will play a role in it? My condition is RM2300 for 5 people including me, so will I qualified? FYI, when I was filling the form to enter University online, I choose my family income between RM4001-RM5000.... But I have Borang B to prove the actual is RM2300. Anyone can help to answer my query? |

Y you want to make a difference in the salary that you apply for the uni and then now the real salary for the loan. You should not have any problem getting the full loan as my bro got RM60K for his studies and my dad salary is over RM3K

I think in order to get full loan, your parents' total income shouldn't exceed RM 2k, once it exceeded that amount, you'll get a 75% loan.

Is it for sure I can only get 75% if the income exceed RM2000?And, what documents needed to proof? Borang B? Borang J? 3 months of pay slip? Thank you guys |

haiya... where you heard that cannot get full loan? you only get the loan or fail to get it. Im not sure about private college/U but government U is rm7000/year for science stream, rm6000/yr for art/business, rm5000/yr for diploma.

I get half loan because I fill in the ptptn form saying my father's salary exceed RM2,000. Anyway, after a month of appealing and frequent visits to bendahari pelajar, I manage to get full loan.
Btw, I am um student 2003/2004 batch. |

Bear in mind PTPTN full loan in public Uni and private Uni offers different amount.
And like what fruitie has said, they look into your parents salary, as well with some other critirea. One of it is amount of people in that family. |

QUOTE(netcrusader @ Jun 28 2006, 08:40 PM) I dunno whether they really take the number of ur family members into consideration or not. BTW, my family has four members. okay.Just give you some cases or scenario. B parents is 3.5k per month. B is the only child in the family. He applied for PTPTN. He get approved, but then probability he get a full loan is very minimal since he is the only child. He will get either half-loan or the minimum loan available. C parents is 3.5k per month. B have another 5 sibling. Bla Bla Bla.. Loan approved. Probability he will get full loan are much brighter than B, and it also depends whether the other sibling are working or still studying. As I said earlier, this thing is hard to decide. It is all under PTPTN bureaucracy. If you are not satisfied, you can always appeal. They will look into it.
