Did you try JPA ?

Hard to get that as they're eyeing for bright student and that's what differentiate between a scholarship and a educational loan. Scholarship has a stricter requirement in term of academic results and other leadership qualification.

There's no 100% guarantee and it's very subjective. First you must at lease meet their minimum requirement. But the chance is quite high.

Cannot promise also but I thought you must be in the college in order for to apply for the loan. You must have the college's offer letter IIRC.

Soalan :

so if i want to graduate my studies to overseas for my 3rd year...ptptn will only cover to 1 and 2nd year only?
*
If i'm not mistaken, PTPTN is not offering loan for twinning programme (program berkembar) right? Correct me if I'm wrong. All degrees must be completed locally ...

Firstly, you have scholarship from your college?
Wait, wait..I'm little confused here.Mind explain more?
If yes(you have scholarship eg: Telekom,Petronas, etc), then you are not entitled to PTPTN.
PTPTN is for those people who are without any scholarship.

I don't know about it then. Maybe they have given a little freedom to college/Uni for certification purpose? IF not mistaken, only college / Uni result are only applicable. Not so sure about SPM. Someone enlighten me please.
*
That's not really the case. I got a senior and a friend who is a PTPTN holder and at the same time, they're (or were) Intel scholars. Any explaination for this?

David, I've encountered few of my seniors cases too.
This is what I've get from the PTPTN website.
And I do remember something bout it when I applied that time.
Either way, they can apply PTPTN without declaring about the scholarship too.
There might be probabilities too.
*
Well, then for sure your little paragraph explained is valid. The amount given by Intel is RM 5k (IIRC) which is much more lesser than the amount of PTPTN full loan. Both of them got full loan from PTPTN and of course, they are bright and smart students (first class holder and nearly four flatter).

*
You must be in a local college/university in order you can apply for PTPTN because you need to attach the offer letter.

Yea, you need to be in MMU first.
Also, MMU will tell you that you must have enough funds to put you thru at least 2 sem without PTPTN because they wont remit the money to you straight away
*
Can you elobrate more? I can't get you.

You'll need to cover your fees for the first few semester as PTPTN will not disburse the loan to you immediately.
*
I thought you can choose not to pay it till PTPTN disburses the money. Perhaps MMU is getting more money-minded now and policy is changed from last time.

I'm not so sure about MMU.
But from what i know, the balance not covered by PTPTN must be paid, ie suppose PTPTN covers 70% of your fees per sem, the remaining 30% must be paid upon due.
*
Those only happen if you got partial loan from PTPTN.

i still dont quite understand about the payment of ptptn loan...

only can start paying when you get a job iz it? or must pay monthly after you get the ptptn loan...
*
You must start to pay back after 6 months of your graduation date unless you apply for delay. If you could repay within the first 6 months, no interest will be imposed. You may choose in monthly basis or in a large sum if you want to save some bank charges.

^That's the maximum amount given by PTPTN. They call it as FULL loan.

The total tuition fee for foundation is roughly RM 8k. This means that you need to fork the remaining RM 3k on your own.

Regarding the payment and relationship of PTPTN-MMU, there's one of time where students are given an option to sign an official document/agreement that allows MMU to take the disbursed money in advance and balance after the deduction of tuituon will be banked in back to students' bank account. I have chosen not to sign that document. I'm not so sure about the current disbursement method.

I didnt know that PTPTN can channel the loan to MMU straight away.
AFAIK for Monash, PTPTN does not do that.
*
During my batch, it was channelled straight to MMU account.

Then came the foolish agreement that requires students' consent.

Now what?

The minimum salary requirement is very subjective thing. Barely to know what they use to measure and determine if you're qualified for it.

It's possible to fake and just that you need to know the right channel and method for doing so.
