Have u tried reformatting the laptop,if safe mode has no problem might be a problem with windows system files.also, check if the fan got dust.might be the reason why it shoot to 100%.for kernel processor power  error 37,u can try refer to this http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...08-667827854ec1
For dchp clients event 1001,try this one http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r24264123-...urce-DHCPClinet
About the fan problem, try this, http://ask.metafilter.com/82014/fan-on-laptop-wont-turn-off
Hope it helps smile.gif

Reformatting isnt really my choice right now as i am having lots of work with college , i will try reformating next week during my sembreak if illegear still havent solve it.

Checked around with my BIOS , no Power option tab or anything related to power in BIOS

Disabled the bluetooth , DCHP client still happens so does the wifi hanging on startup , except for this time there used to be 2 DCHP client error , now its only 1.

My heat sink is perfectly fine , no dust stuck , as i clean it frequently. There is no other reason to download anyother 3rd party to control my fan speed because i already have a fuction key that controls it , and it fails to control it when it reacher 100%.

I just discovered the shutting down problem was caused by NVIDIA drivers. after i reinstalled the nvidia drivers i am able to shutdown nicely now .

Also the wifi and start menu problem seems to shortened by alot after the nvidia driver is reinstalled , from hanging for 2/3 min to just arnd 15 sec, but i am not convinced it is normal for my start menu to hang for 15 sec and for the wifi to hang for 15 sec too.

Compared to my none SSD desktop which turns on slower but when it turns on , wifi is already connected and nth hangs.

also i noticed that 15 sec after i turned on , my desktop will suddenly refreshes everything and it is that moment that the wifi and all the hanging problems gone away, i checked my event viewer , it is now filled with kernel processing power error 37 i suspect it is the problem causing it

My power options are always on high performance.

After thinking for a while , i went to the minimum processor state in the advance power option i changed it from 5% to 100 % and kernel power is solved!^^ i had rebooted 3 times and no kernel power problems yet ^^

now the main thing is , i still need to wait for 15 sec for my laptop to be usable after startup as stated above , 15 sec later my laptop will refresh it self and everything is smooth and the wifi connects. Prince J could you help ?

Hey SoZa,

What are your CPU and GPU temperatures?
*
hi Prince J sorry for the really late reply, i just had time with my laptop, my laptop started again to beep, overheat and shutting down after 20 minutes of game play

its weird i tried to run furmark for 30 minutes and nothing happen but when i tried to run games it happen

as you can see, the maximum temperature is only 72°C, is that is the maximum temperature threshold?

Dear chinyeesiang,

If that error occurs after sometimes I suggest you to try a simple reformat to see if the issue still persists.

I have an RE-15 with i7-4700MQ and the temperatures have been quite bad.
I have been hitting 100C while playing Dota 2, which is alarming.

I bought the IC diamond upgrade and the temperatures are still horrible. And the fact that I live in the UK (ambient temperatures lower than Malaysia) means there is a problem here.

Could thermal paste be the problem?

Note: I am not going to send it back to Illegear via postage, I almost lost my laptop the last time I sent it via postage.

Dear keyzjh,

That sounds terrible and very rare.

By "100 C", do you mean GPU temperature or CPU temperature? Could you send us a screenshot to support@illegear.com with your serial number?

I meant the CPU temperature. GPU is fine. I can ramp the temperature to 100C again but isn't that the maximum temperature before the processor fails? I do not want to risk the processor failing whilst having no resources for repairs now. Currently I have disabled turbo boost to keep temperatures in the high 80s range (max frequency 2.4GHz).

Between Gigabyte P35W V2 and one of Illegear's custom laptops (I'm assuming these laptops are of that sort), which one is better?
