Are there any plans to refresh the RE models with backlit keyboards?

Sorry this question have been asked before, but are the RE models also easily disassembled like the RS models?

May I know what is the Clevo base model for RE-15? Can't seem to find reviews on the net anywhere.

Also, is there a possibility of ordering an Illegear with touchscreen on it? Sounds ridiculous now, but may turn out to be useful in the future

Is there a need to upgrade the default wireless network card i.e. the Realtek card on Illegear laptops?

Who prefers matte over super glossy screen or vice versa?

Being a user who have tried both, I would definitely go for matte. It strains your eyes MUCH less even indoors, your eyes wouldn't tire out so easily.
Using it outdoors, matte is a total no-brainer.

We heard that skynet and Pos Laju will back to work on monday, all orders without backordered components will be shipped on monday/tuesday.

Those who ordered NTSC 95% screen, the ETA is 20th of August.

Even for those who ordered from resellers?

Just received my RE-15 today as well. All is good EXCEPT the hinges.
When I open it until about 80 degrees, there's a click sound at the hinge, I'm pretty sure this is a defect?

I have an RE-15 with i7-4700MQ and the temperatures have been quite bad.
I have been hitting 100C while playing Dota 2, which is alarming.

I bought the IC diamond upgrade and the temperatures are still horrible. And the fact that I live in the UK (ambient temperatures lower than Malaysia) means there is a problem here.

Could thermal paste be the problem?

Note: I am not going to send it back to Illegear via postage, I almost lost my laptop the last time I sent it via postage.

Dear keyzjh,

That sounds terrible and very rare.

By "100 C", do you mean GPU temperature or CPU temperature? Could you send us a screenshot to support@illegear.com with your serial number?
*
I meant the CPU temperature. GPU is fine. I can ramp the temperature to 100C again but isn't that the maximum temperature before the processor fails? I do not want to risk the processor failing whilst having no resources for repairs now. Currently I have disabled turbo boost to keep temperatures in the high 80s range (max frequency 2.4GHz).
