Some technical updates:

Now the RX-17 processor is using its own heatsink rather than stacking with the slave GPU heatsink. This improves the cooling of GPU 2 and processor in overall.

The heatsink and fan of slave GPU also got improved.

I just got my RE-17 model. Just wanted to ask:

1. What is the functions of independent gpu button at top hand right corner of the laptop?

2. What happen if I change the colour to orange?

3. What if its green?

4. Which is better in terms of Gaming Performance?

5. When should I use the green orange colour?

Sorry I'm still new to this gaming laptop, graphics and what not.

Welcome to the family buddy...

1. That button is to manually change from your dGPU GTX 765m to iGPU Intel HD 4600. If it is in orange state, the optimus will be available. if it is in green light state, your RE-17 will always use iGPU intel HD 4600 regardless which program you open.

2, 3. Orange - Nvidia Geforce GTX 765m enable
Green - Intel HD 4600

4. Orange..

5. Depends on the situation.

1. So far so good using this laptop. I would recommend people to buy it because it is cheaper compare to other brands. Like the new alienware for my specs is ridiculously expensive, more than RM7k.

2. Performance superb, no issues...yet. (Dota 2-good fps & xheat with long hours played and bla bla bla) Higher requirements games are to be test soon.

3. Pre-purchase service is good. Keep replying my silly Qs. Did as were told. Delivered as per informed. But just need to inform more often and precise on the ETA or readiness (took COD) or status cause wait is pain.

4. Will comeback to comment on the post-purchase service in the long long long future...hopefully.

Anyway.....GJ Malaysian Company! Something new for the Malaysians.

Anyway, if you want to do a comparison, just use the Clevo W230ST as a substitute for the 13" Illegear, since that is its base model.

they mention b4 RX can swap graphic card
but if budget tight just go RE XD
