Last flydei chap palang TT, learnt damien's car pretty powerful. The car suspension is ketat, just like brand new from factory, engine response quite nice, felt like a well run in dragster. We went for midnight run at Kesas, the same spot last time we raced a Cacamy with dares FLX SE, this time we kacaued a Perve. I floored the pedal, it took about full 1 second before drop gear & roar like a dragon. From MEX exit all the way dragged until before Endah Parade exit, I recon speedo is touching 140 ady. After that was some casual driving, enjoying night breeze, testing on steering action. Overall, I found the car was well kept, very good suspension maintenance, could be the new bushing effect. On the otherhand, throttle response quite up to expectation, whereas GB reponse was slightly sluggish compare to iska's Leona Chin edition. I believe Damien seldom attack corner, as a result gearbox has been adapted to delay gear changed driving style. After midnight run to find out Damien seldom drive his car, unless hujan lebat or weekend bawak bini. His monthly petrol expanses on GaGa would yiled less than RM100.

Today lunch TT with my fren, found out she oso drive GaGa 2008 BLM 4AT.

Me: whoah! I likey BLM de wor. How's your FC ar?
Chick: quite seb oso.
Me: but yours is auto wor? How seb?
Chick: I normally pump 1 tank can last for a week go to work lor.
Me: from sri petaling to PJ about 15km. 1 week 5 times x 2 way = 150km... hmm.gif your 1 tank is how muchie hmm.gif
Chick: RM50 lor
Me:..................(Vomit blood)

Now I start to get the idea why Pak Z1 is happy with his FC despite I feel uneasy looking at it. 1 month hundred bucks petrol, low mileage, it is a very seb/cheap/comfortable car to own laugh.gif

Dares:

Until I thoroughly inpected Damien's car, only I realize how scary the 4AT is. The GaGa 4AT is the beast if u know how to drive them!!! IMO, its faster than manual shifting! I consider myself a quickshifter despite manual GaGa's shift throw is 1km far, I can shift very quickly, but FL shift up virtually 0ms. Marvelous. Downshift is another story, it take atleast 1 whole second to do it due to throttle lag doh.gif

By theway, the FL is white color ar? Which part of MRR2? I was driving company's FL today whistling.gif

just like their pedal response which much better than gaga rolleyes.gif

I've been driving so many cars in and out, changing rides few times a day yawn.gif You wanna talk about throttle response? Even a kancil 660 beats the ranjiao dugong or mybi. Reason being, EFi cars just isn't as direct as mechanical driven. Set aside fuel burning efficiency, carburetor car is much easier in terms of maintenance and effectiveness on tuning. often and on I told people I only need a slot driver(-) and I can tune a car. so, if we were to make that comparison just simply based on the initial throttle response, many cars beats the crap of out dugong/mybi. My Gabby does 1000x better than a dugong/mybi in my opinion whistling.gif

Check out my ex-wife in action:
Double clutched on 1:40 due to slow traffic, RPM catching up immediately
Heel & toe on 2:45, look at the f***ing throttle response

Someone doing a sprint on their Gabby:

On the other hand, I read vacuum meter. I know the throttle body is NOT slow at all. Some how the throttle lag could be the simulation of oversized throttle body. Excess amount of air being sucked in, whilst fuel injection rate/ignition timing wasn't able to catch up, as a result one felt "choked" by the overwhelming wide opened throttle action. I have not able to prove the benefit of ground cable/voltage stabilizer in terms of helping up on the throttle response. But if those are the only things you did to your car, in order to have that kind of achievement, I'd say bravo. Again the question comes back to me, do I really bother to spend another 40k to own a dugong just because GaGa throttle wasn't responsive?

For a stock car, no doubt mybi and or dugong does better than GaGa

GPMM:

Don't listen to them, just use your own car. Old saying wedding manyak ong. If ong ofcoz ong own car, why go ong other peeper. I got married wt my Iswaga, that time I was jobless owe bank 70k waiting for bankruptcy proceeding. After married got job, stike big investment, sorted some US dollars when Obama took over, make a small fortune paid up my debts. I knew that time I'm suey enuf, atleast my wedding car ong me until now.

Gary:

Clutch assembly will not kong so easily provided your car is manual. Normally whole clutch faulty means clautch pad worn off, metal plate tergrind clutch disc, need to change whole set. The whole clutch set is less than RM300 oni. Even if your flywheel is worn off, send the flywheel to foundry & skin 1 layer will only cost RM35. If change whole new clutch + new bearing + new disc + new flywheel, it is possible that cost 500.

It seems like u left no other choice since ur car under warranty. So I suggest u prepare that RM600 in the first place, let Plotong do the repair, at the same time u shd be there monitor the whole process, ask them which part rosak? How rosak? Why rosak? Why need to change whole new set of clutch work? I bet in the end only 2 things need to be changed, which will be your clutch disc+pad. Even if in the end all that rosak u need to spend that RM600, u can always file a complaint. Less than 10k ady clutch rosak, and u call that quality? My ass!!! Make them warranty u or u go MCA & make noise lar. I'm not asking u to suppork MCA, but u know lah GE is around the corner, those arseholes r keen to "help".

Good luck.
