I just posted 1 or 2 pages back that I've received my replacement part DIRECTLY from Lego Denmark. All you have to do is fill up the form for your damage/missing parts, and they will respond via email. Maybe a few years back this service wasn't so good, but they are doing a good job right now. Even one member in BOM had his set missing A LOT of parts, and Lego sent him everything plus a few extras.

From my experience, when you filled the customer service form, two thing would happened; either your complaint sent to UK TLG or Germany TLG. For what ever mysterious reason, UK TLG won't send to Malaysia but no problem for Germany/Deutsche TLG. TLG had sent me close to dozen replacement parts. If they say they can't send to Malaysia, next time just refill the form until the Germany branch would answer.

RRP 70003 is RM154.90, parkson give 10% to bonuslink members so the final paying price quite close to US price of USD34.99, so thank you to ALJ for being fair??  laugh.gif

Very well worth it then. So another sales manager in Lego to manage just M'sia market alone did have some good news to all of us.

^unfortunately of all the Chima sets released by ALJ so far, i found only a few smaller sets with fair pricing - 70000, 70001, 70002, 70003. those speedorz sets i not interested.

the bigger sets get progressively more expensive and marked up sad.gif

Chima set I'm only interested with the 70000 and 70003. You simply can't hate the aegle and then have a match with the dragon from Ninjago. rclxm9.gif

I went and bought this eagle jet from Brickboy yesterday and the croc speedroz blister pack. The croc blister pack is more to see what is the Speedroz all about. For the price of RM 154 you get 3 minifigs with full printing and dual print heads plus headgear, an eagle jet that looks good and have printed parts AND the bad guy gets a little vehicle to attack with. And RM 154 if you are paying the RRP, since I got Brickboy card so it was 10% off which makes it even more attractive.

I only came to know how value for money this set is after I bought the Thundertank aka Laval's Royal Fighter and comparing the RM and sets on brickset. The review on Bricksetr is enough poison to make me go to Brickboy again and buy the set.

The prices for Chima for is very much cheaper than the Ninjago sets which I bought last time. If I am not wrong the Thundertank had a RM to piece ratio of 45 cents per part compared to 60+ cents for a Ninjago set. Unfortunately the huge Croc command ship has a high RM/part ratio, most probably due to the HUGE boat hull piece.

Today I walked past Brickboy and all the eagle jets are gone! shocking.gif But I did see some of them in Isetan Gardens with discount sticker yesterday.

Hope ALJ keep this kind of reasonable pricing and not get too greedy and increase the mark up again. FYI this is the first time since 2009 I use my Brickboy card, since the RRP is so screwed up the discount offered by Brickboy makes buying at retail too expensive.
