does dashboard has real speed? cause sometimes in dashboard can get from 9-18 mbps if use dashboard, but when idm..show 800kbps - 1.3mbps....does dashboard false....

upload speed for broadband is around that only, cant expect it to be like unifi. and about the box, u know how poslaju ppl handle things, you are lucky if the box dent a bit only.

yup that true, but if ts use another box to protect it, because i want to use the box, the cable also dirty....with red paint, dont know if can vanish it

Didn't TS use bubble wrap to wrap the box ald? the cable every one the same, got 1 unit b4, still the same, the red color just a little only, it will nt affect the cable performance, not like it has been potong into 2

Here what i think about the modem

Pros

1- Good speed
Me when using E17 average 3mbps...but with E398, if peak hour with favourite tower can get 8mbps..without antenna if non favourite can get 6mbps.......when non peak hour....favourite tower..can hit 10-18 mbps download speed without antenna..non favourite..10-14mbps..So cool...also if use it everywhere in my house..average is 6mbps stable...:thumb:

2- Good Ping
The ping with my favourite tower is 4X without antenna...and stable..if not my favourite tower..will get 5X-6X...when downloading...favourite tower..8X, non favor, 9X...when many people use..(hotspot), favor 9X, non favor 11X..without antenna

3- Great Internal Antenna
As TS stated...this modem have 4 INTERNAL ANTENNA that really help me..from maxismum -83dbm..now can get that easily without put in higher place....the max can get right now is -71dbm absed on diagnostic...because MDMA still not supported.

4- Cool Design
Nothing to describe...just look at photo already think want to grab it....when infront of your house....

5- Rotatable Modem
The rotatable really help to target nearest tower or want to blow up with fan as this modem quite hot

CONS

1- Not Good Upload Speed
Usually with E173 can get 1.7mbps easily.....but i thought this modem is too pwoerfull enough so i can get minimum 2.6mbps uplaod..but can get 1.8 stable

Bro i think u are new,..

there is 0% different on the K5005 and E398 other than band ( band is depends on which batch is the modem like U1, U15 and so on )

the only different is K5005 housing is much better looking than the E398 original housing,.

if u want a pure E398 with original casing, u can get from andrewdavid @ RM350/RM400 for each

I always accept a refund.

And you can get a genuine Huawei Branded @ RM400++

better refund then get a new modem with the huawei original cop then you can always say its original, not so called re branded. (though the performance sama oni)

I tried 3 version of E398 before I start selling in. Used RM1K ++ to buy those 3 version of E398 and actually try it, slowly teardown them and compared it technically.

Maybe this is my dedication to this business to actually experience the modem before I start selling it. I want my customer to always get the best. I can just sell a usual E398 and provide 0 tech support.



Just look at the antenna, the difference is obvious compared to a usual E398, that's why when you use E398 U15 you get amazing consistency.

If somebody were to use more money to buy a U1 modem with a bad internal antenna design. I am really speechless to this

there is no different between K5005 cASING OR e398 CASING,.

they both are using same MDM9200 chipset,..

main thing is the chipset,.....

they really dont know you well enough,.

not all seller have done this kind of homework first before start selling a product,.

and many seller is "cut corner" too,.

Pic given of our modem sure use u15. The other telenor? U18 or what? Cant see clearly. Hua hua...

Huawei E398


I dont care coz TS already stated that this modem is rebranded and the pic given is same with the actual one. Blacktubi is considered cheating if he use modem with huawei logo but the one you got with vadafone logo.
