Actually that bin file is not necessary but we would like to have a copy of it cause if we Hard Reset the router it might comes in handy.

My Router can identify the E398 without uploading any bin or binti file too

btw, Speedtest is an old crab, dun ever believe it so much

FYI to TS and all. I just collected the modem today. item received in good condition although the manuals are in german or smth lol. But it was no bother. Tested on friends router mr3040 (portable router). found that my ping reduced from 12xms usually now to 76ms around that figure. Webpage loading speed has increased substancially. I havent really tested on download and upload speed yet....(I'm no pro speed tester) juz check some webpage speedtest and also try downloads, if ok for me then happy lol.

Btw TS bro, i didnt not receive the panel antenna set c/w cable and connectors... I thought u gonna send together. When i went to poslaju and the gave me small package my heart broke abit, as i knew no antenna...... Hope u can pm me on the next package date ASAP.

and kudos to TS (blacktubi)... this modem on my 1st day using has impressed me on its faster ping rate and signal capture stability... Too early to comment more... Will update yall after i get the panel antenna.

because i can plug it both to e398 and also 320u... mind to explain...

But NOT support Windows 8? Got error message "Device not found".
The CDROM appear. Application installed. But the software can't detect the device even the blue/green led light.

E398 direct plug-in, no MTU settings, no Router , plain USB plug in

Downgrade to Win7 (using backup image). Still Device Not Found. Anybody can help? So fed up.

i use Win7 ok - can install & upgrade.
But Abg Tubi - the bin file for TPlink firmware upgrade won't work on my router V1 - how come?

Yup. Almost try everything. Reinstall software, restart windows, shutdown.. Uninstall previos vadafone mobile connect software and driver. Remove driver from device manager, manually create new dial up, change to other usb port...

Hm.. actually the driver installed.
