i dunno how many E355 and E398 I've bought from him already. All I can say is excellent service all the time. Very satisfied with the new E398(U15 white color vodafone) modem.

I'm using my edimax 3g portable router with this modem and it works perfectly. rclxms.gif

of course the router not supporting LTE and I still use non-LTE SIM.

Can you use this Mobile Partner and try again?

I've tried using that as well as the latest Mobile Partner from Huawei's website. Still can't get it to work on my computers.

However, I tried it with my dad's old windows xp laptop and it works there hmm.gif It might be something that I installed in my computers which is conflicting.

Hi, Please uninstall any old Huawei 3G datacard related software. Maxis, Celcom and etc. They are known for causing problem

Well this is really strange... my C:\WINDOWS\inf\usb.inf file was somehow deleted from both my computers. I guess it's some crappy uninstaller that did it.

After restoring it from a friend's computer, the E398 installation completed successfully rclxm9.gif
