Yup. I envy Joe Allen's skinny look. So if he's at 62kg, I must also reduce until 62kg since I am only 1cm taller than him. 8 freaking kg to go. Haha.

Prepare to get shoot down by Everdying for my comment above.

We discussed earlier the option of playing Gerrard less. Here are a could of opinions, one of which is from Paul Tomkins.

No question gerard need to be ease out...am not condemning just for sake of it...but when repeatedly i cant see much contribution, it really pains me to question someone who had contributed so much...yet so little lately...whats worse, when SG plays, we sacrifice a lot of positioning, not to mentioned more instructions from BR to play certain players in certain way to adjust to how SG being set-up to play...if anyone understand what i am trying to say...

Still i am all for SG to play attacking midfield, receive the ball and prepare to shoot type - not opening up channel nor finding the killer pass type...nuff said

Liverpool teenager Suso has been hit with a £10,000 fine for branding team-mate Jose Enrique "gay" on his Twitter account.

I felt quite a while back that Gerrard should be used as a forward and then gradually phased out. That way it should reduce the incidence of him being dispossessed or making a poor pass in midfield. It's less damaging when a forward is dispossessed way up front than when a midfielder loses possession right in the middle of the park.

It doesn't help that Gerrard doesn't seem to have the strength to chase the ball right after losing it.

Like I said, that is not the way I would like to remember Steven Gerrard playing for Liverpool. I hope BR is bolder and more decisive in this respect. Perhaps now that he intends to give some players a break, he would also rest Gerrard and gradually phase him out, just like how Carra is being replaced.

Another problem with BR is that, for a young man, he talks a little too much. There are some things that one should just not say in public ... like we could challenge for the top two! Yea, do say it privately to the team while cautioning them against complacency but not to the whole world!

When we have not even solved our goalscoring problem we must not talk about such things. The Liverpool way is to talk about winning the next game. I hope BR learns something from this. When I saw the photo of BR rubbing his chin, I could almost see dear Mr Roy doing the same. Perhaps thinking the same too : "what's the matter with these guys anyway?"

Talking about managing expectations, I guess Reds managers should manage theirs first and ... speak less!

There's just something not right with your doggy picture. LOL. How come the dog looks alittle weird.

Anyway, Suso just cracked the most expensive joke in history. It cost him $10,000 in the process. FA is again proving how embarrassing they are. Now I cant wait to see JT saying the same thing in his twitter. Then JT gonna get fine $5,000 only because he is English. biggrin.gif

Makes sense which makes my opinion on the matter split. On one hand I thought of him playing the role of a distributor from the back. That way he doesn't have to do all the running and instead, looks for players who are making runs. On the other hand, you're suggesting putting him in a Teddy Sheringham, Dennis Bergkamp like role which he thrived in when Torres was on-board. I just think that so long as he realises that he can't run about for 90 minutes anymore and has the discipline to stick to a specific role, and not have a free one anymore, he'll be alright. Thing is I don't think he can help himself.

Well he is young like you say but one thing's for sure he's got balls and he isn't afraid to use them. He may overdo it at times but he talks like a manager of a big club. What did Napolean Hill once say?

"What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve"

I think few days ago I posted an article on how they take care of the fitness of Gerrard to ensure he wont get injured that often and rightly so, he has started every game except Europa League.

So I guess there's a drawback as he no longer go for hardcore intensive trainings like before to minus the chances of injury and that might have affected his performance lately? No?

He will need time to adjust to his level again but he's staying fit so far at least.

The only reason a person would feel offended by Suso's tweet is the person is gay.

It was obviously a harmless banter between friends. What has the FA got to do with that??
Suso's not taking drugs.

Imagine having a go at your friend for polishing his nails and the Board of Engineers fining you 10k for that. It's a bloody joke.
