I used to have Klipsch Promedia 4.1 and 5.1 but sold it off due to space issue. I got my Klipsch at RM250.

Silverstone case is about RM250 - 300

civic98, you're a lucky guy if they don't come back to take the spoilt one... 2 displays for the price of one... not bad eh?? tongue.gif

I just ordered a Dell 2407 today. Can't wait for it to arrive, I hope it won't disappoint... I've been contemplating over the past few days whether I should get the Dell 2407 or the 23" ACD... The ACD is definitely more aesthetically pleasing, but the Dell is definitely more feature packed & gives more bang for the buck... In the end it was the warranty that made me choose the Dell... Cost me AU$1048 for a unit with 5years warranty, whereas the ACD would've cost AU$1250 with only 1 year warranty, and an extra AU$125 for Applecare...

From my previous posts I did mention that I wanted to wait for the next generation of ACDs, but given Apple's decision to switch to LED backlit panels, it would definitely take some time before a 24"er is released and I just can't wait that long... I do hope more details+rumors about the next gen ACDs would surface over the next 2-3 weeks, so that I can still get a refund if I change my mind..

Added on May 8, 2007, 4:26 pmThe dell screen arrived today! I've spent 3 hours with it and so far I'm satisfied...Received revision A04, don't think there's any problem with it... no dead pixels, thankfully! the only minor problem i had was the height adjustment release button on the stand jammed a bit but now it's ok...

some pics of my setup with the new screen:

Yerp, that's a griffin elevator... It does help with the airflow but the main reason i use it is to keep the screen aligned with the external monitor when i use it in extended desktop mode... It aligns the mbp screen to about the vertical center of the dell, so i still can use the active corners on the dell without accidentally moving the cursor onto the mbp screen...

Nice, but will it be difficult to reach the mac pro for disc inserts?
I think you have the same problem like most mac pro owner... not enough desk space for the beast to sit around.
