QUOTE(Jing-leBelle @ Mar 18 2010, 12:20 AM) But crazyee, the stand can only hold when macbook is closed right? Well I not sure, but alot ppl did that. How about the heat dissipation? The macbook will heat up easier? Bookarc actually claim that it's better for heat dissipation probably as the bottom part expose to air more and heat convection draw from moving air |

you still can't beat these guys when it comes to custom jobs though
http://computer-choppers.com/ they were interviewed on BFM 89.9 before, and they were saying that they've got customers who paid up to USD50k to customize their MBPs too. |

Once you mod it, warranty should be voided.

QUOTE(Eithanius @ Mar 20 2010, 08:53 AM) well i couldn't imagine if their MBPs go haywire (not due to their mods) and replaced under warranty by Apple (if it is still cover by Apple considering such a heavy mod), but then again all they have is moolah... Well, if they can spend USD50k to mod a MBP, they can probably afford to get it fixed out of warranty too. I mean, the cost of out of warranty repairs is gonna be peanuts compared to the price of such a mod job. Even the original price of the MBP is peanuts compared to that. |
