Combination of many factor.
- Self engineered driver board.
- Custom firmware (can testify on this).
- OS integration with color profile.

Thanks for the info.

Regarding on anodizing the aluminium Macs, I think maybe can be done locally coz plenty of aftermarket car product produced here was anodized with plenty of colour choice. I did saw some factory at Sunway nearby monash university doing galvanize, maybe they can do anodizing.

Well, when you approach them saying you want to do a PC/laptop/computer other than car parts, most of them will turn you down, unless you know them personally and have a good relation. Or you driving freaking expensive car when you go there.

I was looking around for such supplier in the past. Maybe some of the petrolhead can join in for a group project. You can't go as thick as car coating on the Mac as things might not fit back later.

WWDC of coz - usually in June,

and mind you, Apple doesn't need a keynote in order to release new products... but who knows, Apple might be up to something on April 7th... Watch out for news of media invites by Apple, then you'll know when Apple's gonna have keynotes...

definitely so much more stable than my pc...

even with 8 gb ram on the pc.. it still manages to crash at least 2-3 times a day when i'm working on it.. and this is on fresh windows install, all updates and running illustrator and photoshop only...

Now, i'm working on images the size of several GBs and everything's butter smooth...

Next aim is to get a mbp for offsite work... give my boss 1 month rest first then i'll bug him for it..
