If I can afford US$50K diamond/gold/gems platted Mac. I would not fix it. Just chuck it and get another one, nuff said. Can we come back to earth already. laugh.gif

Well, buying a brand new one is not a problem, but its more of whether they feel like paying another USD50K to customize a new one or not smile.gif

i just realised that the current Mac Pro is the starting of the aluminium.
even after years using the same design, it looks still kinda new here.
btw, how do u know which mac u want to use at this desk ?

Actually PowerMac G5 was the first using aluminium due to G5 processor which are 'heater' generator.
Very easy...the plasticky feel is the PowerMac, then the steely feel is the Mac Pro..

Haha..good question..
Mostly the keyboard at Mac Pro will give way for the space, as below Cinema Display has some space..hehe

Actually this going to be for a while, as PowerMac will retire to my mum's house as multimedia player.. biggrin.gif

The screen is my iMac TV project. The mac connected to it is MacBook Black with white keyboard. Waiting for the black keyboard to return.

Good project..like it.. biggrin.gif
But a question, i do feels Mac display is much more detail than others eg. HP. Is it due to the driver board?
