Hi...

I wish to ship few boxes of personal belongings from UK back to Malaysia (Penang).

I'm considering using Pal Shipping (http://www.shippingtomalaysia.com/) or shipping2malaysia.com (http://shipping2malaysia.com/). Are both services reliable? Will Malaysia Kastam impose any tax on personal belongings?

Many thanks.

Kastam malaysia will never tax personal belongings so u need to make surr its for personal belonging, not for business purpose.ive used both an i know for a fact palshipping is an established company, but apart from being newly established, shipping2malaysia is versatile and convincable. Shipping2malaysia is considerably cheap compare to palshipping, better service, faster transit time, free boxes, faster empty box delivery, faster collectipn service(even guaranteed) and not shipping boxes alone!they support business entity, free advise on shipping procedure, *free insurance, and most importantly, far away better customer service than palshipping.their boss is friendly too, and they always offer their customer to earn extra pocket money!get in touch on their website, they will able to help u on anything u need. I exported 3 bedroom house of my belonging, my car an even mantaining my business now.thumbs up for them shipping2malaysia.com they will welcome u as EdEx family too, as I am.EdEx!

First i was satisfied about the service, but week by week i find strange, first day i received the shipping (after 2 months)

i found out i lost

an very old nokia phone 7610 with charger
an nokia bluetooth eaphone with charger
a box cover with item was packed seperate (i wasn't sure at that time yet)

because i thought i didn't pack those things but confirmed that it wasn't at my uk address.

and recently i found out that
an android netbook (actually it doesn't cost a lot because i won from a NAMCO machine game) but is brand new
a card reader i bought from POUNDLANDS (1 pound shop) also

i contacted them and they said they will investigate on it but i haven't get any responses yet already 2 weeks

the most sad things is my NOKIA 7610 phone which is quite a good memory device that i bought in 2004.

i strongly not recommend any one of you guys use their service as it is very SHxT. sorry for my rude but i am angry
and recently i found more and more things

and i forgot to mention that the packing was sealed nicely like i did, but actually it was opened

man this company is real shit. it was all damn nightmare choosing the services. I shipped my parcel back from early of august until now i have not receive it yet. i called up to them 4 times the first times they say receive within 2 weeks. the second time the answer was again, will be receiving it next week, the third time they told me there is no delivery to my place and i will have to wait, AND then, finally i today i made a call and they told me there is this what so called "settlement" from uk before they can send out the parcel which does not make any sense at ALLL. The parcel is already in their warehouse and WHAT THE FCUK it has to do with "settlement" from UK and WHAT THE SHIT is settlement?! AT the end, i do now have any confirmation date or by when the parcel will be back my house. Just ..... wait for nothing

I guess i cant do anything. Complaining does not work at all, they just KEEP CALM AND "WORK".

God bless me my parcel will be back ORIGINALLY like how i send it out from uk.

Amen.

I send my item on January 2014 using Pal Shipping but up till now there is no news about my items. I call them last month and they said items already arrived at the port. And I have to wait another 2 weeks before it deliver to my house. But then after two weeks I called them again, they said the same thing. The items arrived at the port and I have to wait another 2 weeks. Thats bullshit. The customer service is sucks. Sometimes I called they never pick up. Then, I try using track online service at the website but no feedback at all from them.

I hope my items will not be lost like your item.

My friends using shippingtomalaysia and some of his items are missing. Thats why I choose palshipping. Now I dont know which one is better. hmmm.

Hi, recently used their service and it's a total CRAP! I actually shipped my CAR, not boxes of items which is a lot more worst. Initially I called them to picked the car up the end of June 2014 and hopefully by early August I should receive the car already. Guess what happened? Almost the end July, I received a call saying that they need my details to ship my car which I've given them waayyyy before end of June. So it means that those 2 months I have no idea what happened to my car, whereabout and all (with the engine is running or not) and I'm back in Malaysia with no control of the situation. Apparently the boss, FAKE PHD "DR" NIZAM was back in Malaysia for raya and it was a mistake that they JUST SO HAPPEN DIDN'T SHIP MY CAR 2 MONTHS AGO.

I was so mad like crazy mad and they somehow shipped the car 2 weeks after I haunt their life everyday. Guess what, up until today, I HAVEN'T RECEIVE MY CAR YET. It's been 4 months dealing with this douchebag and I even threatened to report them to UKBA (cause the boss initially used Tier 4 visa saying wanted to continue PHD but started this Pal Shipping business instead) but apparently UKBA has already pay a visit to them. So I reported to the UK Police for fraud/bad customer service (yes, in the UK if you think you pay for something not worth the money, you can report) and I really hope he'll get deported for good with a sad life.

To answer your question, yes I used their service and still not receiving my FREAKING CAR!

There was a nice shipping2malaysia agent in my area but I used them only for my boxes. Just delivered them few weeks ago and everything was smooth sailing. I regret for my whole life for not using them to ship my car.

AVOID THEM AT ALL COST ! This is a con company !
They are not paying the liner and causing my stuff being held up by the liner !!!!!!
The so called "Dr Nizam" promised to deliver my stuff over more then a month and never did. Said he settle the payment to his liner, never did. Now refuse to take my call ! He also promote his business in Malaysia Carnival in UK in Hetford 4th Oct 2014. He came to me and told me about PALSHIPPING, i told him I shipped 4 wooden trunks with him, not received yet. Asked who he is, he not even dare to tell me he is Nizam and made up a name call himself Mohamad !
WHAT A JOKE !!!!!!!!! WOULD YOU TRUST A COMPANY LIKE WITH AN OWNER LIKE THIS ? Just not worth it with all the time and hassel ..

I shipped two boxes of personal effects with PAL in July 2014. Everything seemed to go well: the empty boxes were delivered to my address in Bedford and were collected promptly as promised. All looked good.

PAL promised to phone my address in Damansara when the shipment had been cleared at Port Klang and was ready for delivery. By late August, having heard nothing from PAL, I called their Manchester office and spoke to Nizam Samad, the man in charge.

It transpired that my goods had been shipped and were waiting for collection by the Malaysian freight-forwarders. Unfortunately, according to Nizam, PAL had not paid the forwarders for some time and they were refusing to handle PAL shipments. As a result, my goods were in limbo. Nizam told me that many customers had been waiting 3 or 4 months for their consignments.

Although aware of the problem, the Manchester office was still arranging new collections in England.
When asked what action could be taken to liberate my goods at Port Klang, Nizam advised me to call the PAL CEO, a Dr. Nizam Baharom on his KL number (07843242911). The number was and is out of service.

Now, when I call Manchester, I get no reply. When I call the 'Hotline' I get the voice mail service.

I fear my goods are lost without trace.

Maybe, those of us who have been ripped off could get together and try to get our stuff back. At the very least, we should report PAL's activities to the Malaysian police. As a foreigner on a visit visa I wouldn't know where to begin.

Dear All,

You can collect your boxes from the local partner in Port Klang. I had collected mine from them and saw many boxes were still in the warehouse (2 boxes shipped in June and 2 in Aug).
Please call Pn. Hamidah at 03-31760591 to arrange pick-up. Please ready your order number (receipt number).
The address is:

Allseas Cargo (M) Sdn Bhd
No. 38 Lintang Sultan Mohammed 1A.
Pusat Perdagangan Bandar Sultan Sulaiman
42000 Port Klang.

I think Pal shipping did not pay them for the delivery, hence the boxes were still in the warehouse.
Good Luck.

This company is fckin crap, I had my boxes shipped April 2014 (important stuff, thought to do some business) on a good friend's recommendation (hence I didn't bother to do any review checkups).
Either my friend's standard is below par or she was extremely lucky, I was out of luck.
They were so 'helpful' and 'extremely nice' during the delivery of the boxes for packaging in my house in london. But I waited 10 years for the boxes to reach me. (Didn't happen)
This put me out of business (lost customer's trust) because I kept trying to reach them, only managed to settle in November 2014 (i.e. had to go to port klang and collected the goods yourself). I can't even have my warm clothings for my travelling at that time and this really sucks.
One more thing, the warehouse was a disaster, i.e. they simply campak all your stuff. I saw a few boxes with items spilling out sleep.gif

My verdict: avoid this company like the plague.

I didn't know when exactly. But the info that I got from a friend that I asked to check with their UK guy, it was around June or was it July but they refused to deliver and there were lots of hanky panky in between until I finally managed to collect it. So, you'd better check with them directly, and I think you have to call the warehouse, and self-collect if it's already available.

Dude you got smoked by them. There is only one Nizam in the company. I received my car cause I changed my agent when my car arrived Port Klang. Allseas Cargo is crappy too. I suggest you guys to use Mikhir World Trading. They're like superb handling imported goods.

Pal Shipping is registered under UK's company. Not too sure how they are registered in other European countries. I would say UK Police or UKBA are wayyyy more effective than Malaysia's police if you want to report. Because UKBA they are really strict on immigration issue. Feel free to log a report to UKBA (y)

Sorry for the late reply. Didn't get any notifications until someone PM-ed me. I received my car after 4 months, and I changed my agent in Malaysia to Mikhir World Trading, instead of using Pal Shipping's Malaysia agent; Allseas Cargo. Since I changed agent, everything went smooth sailing. Unless if your car is like sooo rare, there would be a delay when you want to query for your import tax from kastam. So it's not an agent issue. But my car was in a bad condition after almost half a year engine has not been started. Paid so much to fix them.

However, what I did to Pal Shipping to receive my car was, I literally called that f***ing NIZAM everyday, black mailing him with using his fake PHD to report to UKBA and he got damn scared initially. Then he got annoyed and I annoy his whatsapp sending messages every second when I have time just to make sure he got annoyed with those thousand notifications. He thinks he can do this to all his customers, but too bad he's playing with the wrong one here.

I thought I was the only one having this issue, so I only report to the UK Police instead of UKBA. But since a lot of people are facing the same issue, reporting to UKBA is valid now.

How I knew he misused his Tier 4 visa to start his business? His own friend told me about it. He got clean cause there's a company sponsored their licence to open a company in the UK. There must be a loophole in this situation. I hope you guys can find it and bring this company down.

Btw, this is "DR" Nizam's face just in case anyone got smoke. He is the boss of the company, and also the same douchebag liar.

Good Luck.

But this is in West Malaysia. We are in Kota Kinabalu Sabah. The shipment cannot be released. How to go to the warehouse here to collect? Please advise. Also, If this matter is not resolved by end of March 2015, I am going to pursue this matter legally. Anyone wants to join me can email me. Thank you.

Hi there, did you use shippingtomalaysia or shipping2malaysia?

Hello,

i recently used shipping2malaysia to send my belongings from UK back to Malaysia. Box arrived after 2 months and even though the box was opened, everything was there. However, the service would require you to clear your schedule for a week as they would not tell you when they are coming, only until the night before, you will get a text from them. and the time frame which they give is rather wide, hence you would have to stay in your room for the whole day. Unlike the promise they gave, which is, they will come and collect the box (already packed) 7 days from the time you send them a request to collect it, the reality is that, it can take even more than that depending on their so called schedule. So if you plan to give them the box on the last week of your stay, you'll have unnecessary headache since they would not even bother to contact you until the night before they collect it. Not very helpful. For the collection of boxes, you would need to carry it up to your accommodation yourself and it doesn't matter how many boxes you ordered. The three malay guys who was supposed to give me my boxes were just sitting in their van and called me over to see them instead because apparently they couldn't find the reception, which was rather odd because every delivery man somehow found the reception with no problem at all. So overall, the service was just average and there is so much more to work on.

Hi, this is my first time using the shipping service. The shipping2malaysia company just pop out while google it, so I think I can give it a go. I had been waiting for their free box few months, still no stock, sad.gif so I go buy my own box. They text me a day before they come to pick up. They required my photocopy of my IC, passport and visa. I feel very uncomfortable with it, do they require the same from you as well? I don’t understand why they need those documents from me. Is every shipping company required the doc as well?

BTW, luckily look up those review, just find out the PAL shipping is same with ShipGo uk. I nearly make a booking with the ShipGo uk, but now I got to think twice, I don’t want to experience the same.

Can anyone recommend me the shipping company you have used before please? icon_rolleyes.gif
