I think media server is about scanning your videos or music. I could be wrong. Too much of this could mean you have a corrupted file or so.

But it's only less than 30 mins, don't think that's the reason for the big drain in battery? my whatsapp and facebook is not listed in as well =.=

Celcom has the mAdvance Data 68 and 88. I am using 88 for 5gb data, 60m calls and 60 sms inclusive. After that it is pay as you go.

Maxis SURFMORE 50/75 is a DATA ONLY plan. If you add up 60m and 60sms for Maxis, it comes out as slightly more expensive than Celcom's but I think Maxis has better performance.

Celcom seems to throttle PLAY STORE connection from 8pm to 3am daily.

Maxis TALKMORE is a voice/sms plan with option to add on data.


Bigger size is a DEFINITE PRO..... cannot ever face anything smaller......
Only con is the 1280x720 vs the Note1's 1280x800

Hopefull Note3 gets 1920x1200

point is not what the package gives u. If you are calculating the best deal should go for umobile. But when comes to stability and coverage you dont have much choice.

Actually I think the 2GB ram plays a big role. Other than that, both are equal. But yeah, I would settle for GN2 anytime of the day.

does having alot of media in the ext sd card affects the battery life? I have around 16gig of videos in there, but it shouldn't be running once i exit the video player..

Yes for me that is bad screen time unless u playing game alot.

Correct bbs is betterbatterystats. Media scanner only scans at start of boot and if you add media files to the phone. Use BBS to try to find the culprit. Usual high battery drainer
1) Screen (check and ensure you are not using high brightness unnecessarily)
2) Data connection (especially if you are in bad connection area)
3) CPU (only if something is keeping your device awake, eg no deep sleep)

1 and 2 you can control. 3 use BBS to find any apps keeping your device awake or not.
