Gonna get my note2 on the 29.11.12. I juz bought iPhone 5 n used less than 1 week, i still prefer android (I sold my note for this iPhone).

The good about note over iPhone:

1. No need to wait for incoming chat msg to load whenever u launch the apps. For example iPhone will notify u of incoming msg but u still hv to wait for it to load the msg when u click on whatsapp, wechat, etc.

2. Email with attachment. This is the biggest headache in iPhone. U can't attach any attachment like PDF, excel or word file within the email app. It only allows u to email from photo apps. I know there are other ways to transfer doc file to iPhone then attach it with other program but I find it rather stupid. For android we can juz Bluetooth anything over and attach any files u want after u compose the msg.

3. Notification tone is fixed with those few sounds.

But of coz there are goods about iPhone :

1. Great iTunes n sound quality
2. Better games apps
3. Lighting fast processor
4. Immediate response to camera shooting.(my old note has some lagging even though I used class10 micro sd)
5. Good battery life
6. Cool looking as usual
7. Web browsing speed really improved.

So to get the greatest satisfaction, will need to get both. Hahaha.

I want to chime in for 1 and 3.

1. is because of the "all your base are belong to us" mentality of crapple. iTunes is the GATEKEEPER to the stuff YOU PAID FOR or downloaded or created.
3. I admit that multiple reviews have stated this, but someone mentioned that it's due to the framework that puts UI actions as top priority for the OS. However, if that were the case, AND with such a fantastic processor now, why can't iOS support widgets? Afraid it will screw up the carefully tuned framework?
And it will be interesting to see a screen full of widgets on idevices vs. Note2 or high end Android.

guys, its been a few days me using my Note II, AWESOME!!! like it so much with all the amazing features

1) after exploring here and there on my Note II, i realized there's no one settings that can switch my phone from 3G mode to 2G mode? only mobile Data Network Mode can be activated or deactivated, which means its not even on Edge when its deactivated.

correct me if im wrong, is there any way out of this?

2) Also, after installing some games, i noticed frequent random apps pop-out on the home screen sometimes, which is kinda irritating. any way to force stop the apps from popping out?

I installed Nun Attack (the game) but can't run. Got sound but image ... anyone else suffer the same and more importantly, is there a work-around it?

I was Jalanx2 at shopping mall just now. Then i go in a maxis center to see whether got any white note 2 or not.  No white only grey:(
I like the feel the when I touch it. There was no games for me to play. And i only take some pic. Scroll here and then doing nothing. Everything seems perfect. To my surprised the grey color note 2 look more elegant
Then I so gatal and ask whether got any stock or not. They say need to write contact will call when arrive. And I give my particulars XD.
Hmmm one thing didnt impress me well is Note 2 Speaker. I am not sure whether Note2 speaker is good or not , I don have the chance to detail test? Because i would like to listen song often if I got one XD.

Lag was Nokia N8 after Anna......omg that is/was lag.... since I had it setup nicely, everything worked including SKLChan sifu's mods, I left it at that till today. Fully functional, no Belle has been fine.

Note1 with Apex and many widgets was laggy. Note2 with Apex and many widgets was slightly laggy. Note2 with Nova and transition settings to hi-speed is super smooth.

I tested with a token, works nicely. just that if your phone in standby it cannot work.
Need to unlock(if lock) or at least wake the phone up.

Since I lock it, then need to unlock, might as well do the setting at the same time.
abut redundant... any other useful ways of using it?

I'm using maxis. All the while Ok. Since yesterday it only detect edge or G. Seems like it stop detecting H or H+.

I restarted the phone. Took out sim card. Off mobile data and turn on again. I even choose my provider to Maxis. Set to Gsm/cdma. Everything.

Problem still the same. Please help urgently.

Solved! : After setting to gsm/cdma now Ok.

Yoz peeps!, thinking getting APset which comes with 2yrs warranty for rm1799 comes with 4 gifts from Brandstar.

Didn't follow AP phone lately, other than warranty differences, how about in terms of upgrading it's firmware etc., does it differs to SME ones?

The last APset phone i bought about 5years back have positive impression as they fixed my phone on the same day i sent.

Anyone have APset here care to share their thoughts on it?
