Some of the SPen with oversensitive problems are stuck, the tip is supposed to be retractile, meaning when you touch the screen it will retract abit and when you lift up, it will drop back down. I had a problem with my SPen immediately after purchasing but did not realise it until 3 days later. Sent to samsung for warranty and got a new 1 in 2 day.
1. Great iTunes n sound quality 2. Better games apps 3. Lighting fast processor 4. Immediate response to camera shooting.(my old note has some lagging even though I used class10 micro sd) 5. Good battery life 6. Cool looking as usual 7. Web browsing speed really improved.
So to get the greatest satisfaction, will need to get both. Hahaha.
Note 2 is a much improved version of Note 1. 1. No comment. Many says the sound quality of Note 2 is good. 2. This one I agree. 3. I can tell you no lag on Note 2, super fast. Thanks to Jelly Bean and 2GB ram. 4. It's immediate for me. I'm using 64GB Class 10. 5. This is one of the most loved things on Note 2. The battery life is superb. I have just charged my phone. It was active for 1D5H with 6H of on-screen time. 6. To me Note 2's is very cool looking. 7. The same for Note 2, very fast in browsing.

What kind of "fast n responsive" do you need? I use ezpdf and fine so far, occasional annotation works.
Someone suggested Mantano, haven't tried this and don't know if it supports annotation.
Gonna get my note2 on the 29.11.12. I juz bought iPhone 5 n used less than 1 week, i still prefer android (I sold my note for this iPhone).
The good about note over iPhone:
1. No need to wait for incoming chat msg to load whenever u launch the apps. For example iPhone will notify u of incoming msg but u still hv to wait for it to load the msg when u click on whatsapp, wechat, etc.
2. Email with attachment. This is the biggest headache in iPhone. U can't attach any attachment like PDF, excel or word file within the email app. It only allows u to email from photo apps. I know there are other ways to transfer doc file to iPhone then attach it with other program but I find it rather stupid. For android we can juz Bluetooth anything over and attach any files u want after u compose the msg.
3. Notification tone is fixed with those few sounds.
But of coz there are goods about iPhone :
1. Great iTunes n sound quality 2. Better games apps 3. Lighting fast processor 4. Immediate response to camera shooting.(my old note has some lagging even though I used class10 micro sd) 5. Good battery life 6. Cool looking as usual 7. Web browsing speed really improved.

1. Not really i always must use itunes or else i cant transfer songs and sound quality note 2 is better 2. This true 3. Yea indeed note 2 still have minor lag still cant beat iOS fludity 4. Note 2 camera is faster but image quality is better 5. U havent tried note 2 battery life it makes your iphone 5 battery a joke why note 2 is a 5.5inch screen + quad core processor + storage up to 64GB expandable + Exchangable battery = Thats what i call good battery life. Iphone screen is small you should be lucky it lasted enough. Just imagine note 2 is 4" screen it will make iphone totally a humilating in battery life
6. Good looking nah used to 7. yeah because rendering crappy website.
You notice why ppl like note 2 because it have endless of features while iphone there nothing much to talk about except its a little better than the previous model of iphone.
Do you know u can put the entire iphone in the note 2 screen

I want to chime in for 1 and 3.
1. is because of the "all your base are belong to us" mentality of crapple. iTunes is the GATEKEEPER to the stuff YOU PAID FOR or downloaded or created. 3. I admit that multiple reviews have stated this, but someone mentioned that it's due to the framework that puts UI actions as top priority for the OS. However, if that were the case, AND with such a fantastic processor now, why can't iOS support widgets? Afraid it will screw up the carefully tuned framework? And it will be interesting to see THE PERFORMANCE fluidity of a screen full of widgets on idevices vs. Note2 or high end Android.

changing one pdf to another one is just too horrible
I just tried switching pdfs in ezpdf on a DUAL CORE device....works fine for me. I hit back button, go to bookshelf, click another pdf, it opens quickly.

yeah the annoying part just imagine your computer crash must redo everything. If i got mp3 from email it will load the media but cant save =.=" Anything happen to my note 2 just remove the memory card.
Yeah iphone homescreen is just so boring so many generation still like that suitable for small kid or old ppl.

Making "Modified-Stock" Custom ROMs Defunct - the Xposed Framework
Introduction Recently it has dismayed me how, across the Android Community, people seem to feel that it's necessary to run a "Custom ROM" in order to get improvements and changes to your ROM. Of course, some of you know it's possible to modify the APK files directly to change things, but these changes need to be done every time your base ROM is updated. Once Samsung starts leaking out updates to 4.2 like a sieve, you guys will be all over them, needing to update your patches and tweaks every time.
Anyway, seeing this displeases me, as it encourages people to see "Custom ROMs" as a commodity, and something you consume. In essence, users were getting their "fix" of tweaks from their "chef", but not learning how to do it themselves, nor realising their beloved chef isn't doing anything magical. In fact, their chef is likely decompiling the applications, and using baksmali/apktool to take apart the app, hard-code in their changes, then rebuild it. This method has worked well for 3 years, but it's been in need of an update for some time.
The Enlightenment Then I saw this thread by rovo89. That man deserves a beer for every Android user there is, for his work on the Xposed Framework! His and Tungstwenty's work on this has made it possible to modify the core Android system, without doing any actual modifying of applications.
