what is the difference between this two models G-6900KG-3DR or G-6900KG-3CR ..anybody?
*
that's the difference on which market that particular model will be distributed to. as long as the front part (in this case, G-6900KG-3) are the same, then those two are 100% same. not sure about -CR but -DR are for international market. this might help:

So the quality of the DR and CR watch should be no difference right? I noticed both was manufactured / made in china.
*
quality-wise should not be an issue. all the different market regions usually determine packaging. let say for a certain model some would get a tin can, some would get a mini-case, and some would only get ol' plain cardboard box

yup agree...dw6900 is too many limited edition...  flex.gif
*
coz it's the most basic G aside from the 5600, reducing the cost to make such releases rolleyes.gif

if they were ever to use the likes of GA-110 for collaboration, then for sure the price will skyrocket like the GA-110EV and GA-110PS

+1 to that brother. i guess he banked in the money first.

number 2: practice COD for the items if possible.
*
patience will pay. it's better to lose a few bucks buying from a trusted seller than losing hundreds (or in this case thousands) to an unknown guy.

and never, NEVER easily fall for those too-good-to-be-true offers.

Owh the model GA-120 is nice
How about GA-150 series?
Do u know these 2 model price & where should i get it with a reasonable/cheaper price?
*
the price range should somewhere in the RM500 - RM700, depending on the colour and where you get it from. they are slightly higher priced than GA-100 & GA-110 which is under RM500 for regular releases. limited/collaboration models is a different story laugh.gif

Just bought G-6900KG-3 from gpeople. My first gshock.so far so good. But is it normal the glass easily dirty?, like cheap smartphone screen protector. 2nd thing not too good is negative display hard to see the time.

[attachmentid=3281925]
*
good looking G! I do have one from the KG (military/olive drab) series, which is the GR-7900KG-3.. glass easily get dirty? that is all depending on how you use it. if you sweat quite a lot, and touched the glass quite often, then it will get smudgy easily

depending on preferences, negative displays might be a hassle to some. as for me I don't have any issue at all, 3 out of 4 G's that I own have negative displays; G-7800B-1, GA-110HC-1 and the GR-7900KG-3. the only with normal display is my 10-year-plus DW-6600

I'm a sucker for negative displays. looks waaayy cooler, especially with the backlight on laugh.gif

QUOTE(antonio @ Jan 26 2013, 03:49 PM)
I walked around SG. Wang, BB Plaza and Fahrenheit 88 yesterday...

Using GA-110GB-1A as a yardstick, I'm amazed of how often shops blatantly put prices on that watch model...

among 20+ shops that I browsed and ask, prices would start around RM799 up to a whopping RM1599...there is even a shop dare to quote me RM2099 which includes another cheap G-shock for free (it ain't free if youre not buying at SRP price) and additional 3 newly sealed batteries to spare.

Only 1 shop (cant recall the name) that puts the SRP price on its G-Shock watches and the GA-110GB-1A in Sungai Wang...The shop displays Micheal Kors watches on its display case in front... Looked at the GA-110GB-1A and.......

BAMMM!!! RM499... And no discount..when ask why there is no discount, the politely put that if no Mega Sale or Christmas Sale or any other type of Sale season, there would be not discounts....even on those season, G-shock only gets like 10% MAX as instructed by Casio MY or the distro.

One shop, a corner shop with auntie in her 50s or late 40s, quote me RM1599 for the watch with 30% off...I ask only 30% ahh...She said if I'm serious she'd throw another 10%...so thats 639.6 less than 1599, which equates to RM959.40 if I end up buying....

Its funny.... laugh.gif
*
a friend of mine once got his GA-110GB when it initially arrives in mid-2011 from a Time Galerie outlet, at RM450 only complete with warranty from Marco when other shops quoting around RM1k for it laugh.gif

I'm not interested in the GA-110GB, however I'm in the market for the GW-1000D wink.gif Go GFactory yesterday...look over the glass case only....Offered to try, I declined, coz not buying on the spot...Mebbe monday go buy... icon_rolleyes.gif
*
ohh.. if I got the chance & time, I always have a go at trying the watches on display even if I don't have any intention in buying at all laugh.gif also at having a chat with the promoter at the same time, digging out info on certain watches

wanna ask, my gshock's glass got a bit gap with the rubber case (on top which have "G-SHOCK'). Is it normal? sorry for bad english, hope can understand.
*
it would be a lot easier if you would have provided your watch model and a picture, explaining the said situation. it might be because of the design, who knows

Bought this GR 7900nv 2dr at pertama complex today. Fall in love with the color.

They priced this unit higher due to 'limited edition' they said. I bargained hard.

*
mind sharing the price you paid for it? I paid RM389 for my GR-7900KG-3 from G-Factory Fahrenheit88

It's g6900kg3 military olive green. The gap is like in the picture. I went to watch shop, some of 6900 just tiny gap, some can see. I think it's just not consistent but not a problem.[attachmentid=3282695]
*
maybe it's the fitting of the bezel. not a big deal at all

QUOTE(matsheikh @ Jan 26 2013, 09:27 PM)
Rm450 cash. Their price is competitive especially when the uncle owner is around.
Shop in front of escalator.
*
quite okay I guess, although I do think you might have found a better offer.

QUOTE(antonio @ Jan 26 2013, 09:22 PM)
What is this BS about being limited edition?...like the post above, almost 'all' the shops that I visited yesterday mentioned the GA-110GB was limited edition, limited series, limited this and that....Its not...its mass produced like any other models except the ones that CASIO intend to sell as limited editions that comes with a fancy box or a toy or some fancy colors which has a famous people or characters name...

Shops that were mentioning about Limited edition for the GA-110GB, heck almost all shops has that model...whats so limited about it??? laugh.gif
*
"limited" here means limited release which is a one-off release, not limited edition only being released in a small quantity

the Garish Black/GB series is one of the limited release, but a few months back I noticed new stocks coming in, maybe due to high demand, or somebody just brought in some old stocks previously kept away

Maybe you can check here: http://www.casio-intl.com/asia-mea/en/wat/g_shock/limited/

I agree with your situation...but the others (the ones I asked around yesterday) are truly a joke...not only the sell above list price, they even dare put in outrages claims such as limited edition and what not...
Yes...according to http://www.casio-intl.com/asia-mea/en/wat/g_shock/limited/ then, its a valid 'Limited' release...put blatantly to jack up prices, thats a different story....pity those 'water fish'  sweat.gif
Cool... thumbup.gif
*
yeah. I do check the website regularly, so I got an official source to differentiate which one is limited and which one is not

even my GA-110HC-1 was once said as limited laugh.gif

QUOTE(tomtom13 @ Jan 27 2013, 04:28 AM)
bro, all this limited colour/release is meant to say it is special/unique colour that do not usually comes out on normal model, but it is not exactly limited edition.. and one-off release is kinda subjective and depends on demand...
Worth collecting if u like the design/colour, by comparing to limited edition it is definately much cheaper and do not expect to resell it at higher price (which I noticed some resellers doing this all the time by telling their buyers as limited edition, their dirty tricks)..
*
pity those eager buyers sad.gif

the Rose Gold GA-110RG series are not limited if I'm not mistaken, just a special colour release
