I can't make out what model is that but based on that photo, I doubt you'll be able to find a replacement bezel.

Anyway, there are new GD models, the GD-350. Looks rugged and really tough. Love the 9 o'clock position digits.

Is this the model with the vibration feature???
*
Yes it is. Well I think it is, based on the 'Vibration' wordings on the watch itself.

If you can read Japanese, the press release is here. Maybe there are more info in the press release. smile.gif

Thanks for ur info wink.gif

Is it reliable if i buy from shopcasio.com? I m worried abt it ><

Or do u hv any website to recommend?
*
For new collectors like you, the best is to buy from G-Factory.

If you prefer to by online, try http://projecthullabaloo.blogspot.com/ . They are based in Johor and very reputable. Their prices are quite ok too. Some of their models are slightly more expensive but some are a lot cheaper than what you see in the shops. A lot of forummers but from Hullabaloo.

they don't ship outside US i think sad.gif

However....If you brave enough to get from japan, u may visit;

http://www.seiyajapan.com
http://c-watch.co.jp

Got nice models some JDM also...price ok...unlike a shop which the aunty will quote close to Tissot price  sweat.gif  shakehead.gif
Nice link.... Any other from lelong or mudah shops? heard G-People got a lot of positive feedbacks....
*
For limited/special editions, I usually buy from eBay. Most G-Shocks sellers from eBay are from Japan so mine are usually from Japan.
I always buy from these two - bitrade and jr-rc but they sell older/vintage models. Not a lot of new ones though. SUPER FAST delivery.

Locally, it's Project Hullabaloo for me. I've never bought from G-People or DAVIS but I've heard of them enough to know that they are reputable.

The unofficial G-Shock Malaysia FB fanpage had plenty of sellers last time and I bought a huge chunk of my collection from these sellers. Too bad the admin of that page decided to close off comments from other people and only sell their own stuff.

Hope that helps. smile.gif

New Nigel Sylvester x G-Shock. Really underwhelming if you ask me. Not creative at all. Same model as the old one but instead of white, it's black.

Source from the ever awesome Clement Wong from Hong Kong.

Yeah. But can't spend too much already. Will have to refrain myself for at least 3 months. Bought too many. ARGH!

Thank God the newer G-Shocks are not that appealing (to me at least). Then again, it's the older ones that kill me...

too many! a true collector. hehehehe. stop la for like 1-2 months? hopefully upcoming models wont be too nice until cannot resist la. hehe
*
Yeah. Stopping for 3 months. Hopefully no models that catches my eyes pop up...But like I said, it's the older models that will kill me. Hopefully they don't come up for sale.

Anyway, it's been a while since I posted my full collection. Will post one up when all 5 of these come to me. One is already on the plane from Japan, two will be posted today, one will be posted this weekend I think and one still no news yet...

The one without news is the one that I pre-ordered since beginning of the year...Hope nothing happens to it...

EDIT: The one without news is actually shipped! Seller didn't tell me it's shipped. When I check on the tracking (He sent me a tracking right after I paid, saying that he'll be using that tracking number), it says shipped 2 days ago. It's on the plane now. I'm happy! I'm getting my Initial Blue soon!:)

The back ligt is not the usual green-ish blue. It's white but not as white as the GD-100/GDF-100/etc models. My phone's camera cannot really capture it's colour. It's whiter but not as bright as the GD-100/GDF-100/etc models.

The Bluetooth man animation when it's searching for a connection.

I didn't manage to test out the other features. It requires an iPhone 4S or an iPhone 5. I downloaded the G-Shock App for Android (via jack sparrow means, since it's only available in Japan), and it doesn't seem to work.

I have a feeling Casio is abandoning the Android OS and going full iOS. The Android app hasn't been updated for a long time and the newer Bluetooth G-Shocks (with the suffix of AA) are all iPhone compatible.

I did manage to connect it to my laptop and that's about it. Does nothing at all.

BTW, bonus. smile.gif

RAF price is even more expensive than the 30 star sky cockpit....
*
Yeah it is. It's a collaboration model with a non-commercial unit. The 30 Stars is just a special edition anniversary model.

Furthermore, the RAF was released before the 30 Stars. The prices will rise until one point, and maybe, just maybe, the 30 Stars will catch up.

did u try to connect to ur android/ios device? how it works?
*
I don't have iOS and I just noticed that my Galaxy Note is Bluetooth 3.0 and not 4.0.

Like I said earlier, it will most probably work well with iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 because Casio seems to have abandoned the Android app. It's only available in Japan and there hasn't been an update for a long time.

Where are you located?

Anyway, another one of my watches is in KLIA now but it's a KL holiday tomorrow. Doubt they'll send it over. Have to wait until Monday I guess... By Monday, I hope 3 of them will be shipped, since one is on the plane and another one is from Johor. Hehe

All the other watches I bought are at my local post office! Should be getting plenty of parcels on Monday. smile.gif

user posted image

The first one was attempted to be sent last Friday but it was a holiday in KL (my office is in KL), which is why it says unable to deliver. I didn't know Pos Laju works on holidays. I hope they resend it over on Monday instead of giving me a card and go collect. Not easy to park at the Post Office...
