Bottlenecks always exist, but their level and the hardware involved varies between systems. The build has a powerful processor and a graphics processing unit though, both of which should work well together. RAM speed doesn't really affect system performance in a significant way, so you won't really have to bother much about it.

Hi guys, i planning to buy a gaming pc so I can play latest games and here are my spec.

i5 3570
500gb hdd
sapphire 3GB 7950 OC

My question is can someone suggest me which motherboard, power supply , ram and casing should i buy? About the casing, can all graphic cards fit into all types of casings? My budget is around RM1.5k exclude the graphic card. Thanks for reply.

The compatibility of a graphics card with a computer casing depends largely on the casing's form factor and design. Most ATX and and larger form factor computer casings should have no problems supporting most available graphics card in the market.

Processor -
Motherboard MSI H77MA-G43 ( M-ATX board ) or MSI Z77A-G43 ( ATX board - RM289 and RM389 respectively )
RAM 2x 4GB DDR3 1333MHz KVR - RM138
DVD Rom -
Solid State Drive -
Hard Disk Drive -
Graphics processing unit -
Power Supply Seasonic M12II 620 - RM349 ( Semi-modular )
Chassis Any ATX chassis that you fancy for RM200 and above
Total RM976 or RM1076 and above

It should work fine with your system.

Anyway, which 80 Plus series Silverstone power supply are you referring to? As far as I can see, there's no 80 Plus series. There are different Strider power supply series though, e.g the Strider Plus and the Strider Essential.

Correction bro, its a semi modular unit.. but its better that way IMHO, not that you'd never needed the 24-pin abd 4/8-eps

Actually I used to think that way too. It changed when I cleaned my system regularly last time. To dust the power supply I'd had to remove all the cables from the computer components before taking it out. Now with a X-660 I just have to unplug the cables from the power supply. biggrin.gif

Perhaps you may try to consider small form factor build since u wanna avoid big cases.
Btw, what's your main purpose of this rig?

hi all. I need a build a pc for light gaming (FIFA games, NBA & etc), mostly for downloading movies and photo editing. Budget would be around 1.5k to 2k, without monitor. Might get a 21.5" monitor later.

Any suggestion for this build? I would prefer a AMD pc. Thanks in advance.
