Thanks to marfccy suggestions and what I've got is

Processor: Core i7-3770 (Bought)
Mainboard: MSI MS7759 z77MA-G45 (Bought)
Ram: 2x8GB Value RAM 1333MHz (RM228) [should I use these much?]
GPU: MSI GTX660 Ti Twin Frozr III (RM849)
PSU: SilverStone Strider ST50F-ES (RM219)
SSD: Intel 330S (RM299)
Casing: [I hope there are alternatives, do you know any?]

I think this is the roughly details and please correct me if I'm wrong. For SFF, I afraid it will overheat or any issue occured as I am not so familiar with SFF...

Anyone will to explain regarding Motherboard type ?

What's the different between a RM300 Z77 montherboard and RM1000 Z77 motherboard ?

Auto overclocking ? BIOS feature ? Able to overclock further ? The design ? expansion slot ? Support up to 4-way SLI/Crossfire ?

Why people willing to speed over RM1k just on a MOBO itself as it does not really contribute to performance ?

I remember there is "noob question" thread for asking some simply question, I hope mod can reopen the thread so that people like me can ask professional opinions there.

You can OC, but you don't have voltage control from what i understand.

Based on details above, I wish to ask, is it a nice selection with MSI mainboard and MSI GPU? Because I can choose another equivalent Gigabyte mainboard but I'm afraid of the compatibility issue....I'm new to hardware and hope someone will correct me.

FYI :

Z77 motherboard + non 'K' CPU = waste.

Why?you will not be able to fully utilize the Z77 motherboard features which are specialized for 'K' version of CPU.

Anyway, how's the budget?how much u got left to spend?

I think I still able to exchange the processor for K version but what's the difference? As I know, the locked version 3770 has more technology offered compared to K version? And why Z77 is optimised for K version of i7?

About the budget, I think I left 400 and below for casing and CPU fan or cooler.
I'm targeting a small form factor but doesn't know much about the heat issue of my current proposed specifications.

Why K versions you ask? Well, the default non-K processors will be much harder to overclock. With Nehalem/Clarkdale (last generation Core i3/i5/i7) pretty much you take your base clock of 133 MHz and apply say a default multiplier of 25, that would be your 3.33 GHz processor. That base clock was capable of going so much higher, 150, 186 and when tweaked right, even over 200 MHz. So if you were able to apply a fictive 175 MHz on your base clock, you could multiply it with the limited 25 multiplier. That would get you 4375 MHz.

The new technology however has an embedded GPU / video processor merged into the very same processor die running over the same bus sharing the same L3 cache memory, things get increasingly complicated in matters of tweaking.

The new 100 MHz baseclock of Sandy/Ivy Bridge processors are harder to tweak, if you are lucky you can get 115 MHz out of it with regular cooling, multiply that with your maximum multiplier and you'll notice that the default processor can only overclock a few hundred MHz at best. And that is why Intel introduced the K series, since it offers you an unlocked multiplier which will allow you to go much, much higher.

So please do get a 20 USD more expensive K version and in the BIOS you'll have much better tweaking options. With a proper motherboard you can now set a multiplier per core.

Z77 motherboard has that features which capable to overclock the 'K' series CPU..and overclocking those 'K' series CPU means it could performs better.

Bytheway,what is ur overall budget?

Thanks for your really good advices! I learned a lot!
But I just being informed that some components have been actually bought by my cousin for me.
Thus the new rig details will be below

BOUGHT!!!
[Processor]
Core i7-3770s (As it is more ideal for SFF as thermal and power usage will be lower during normal usage)
[Main board]
Intel DH77DF (As it is mITX and ideal for SFF)
[Internal Storage]
Intel 520S (For better data processing performance due to my working)

HAVEN'T BOUGHT!!!
[Memory Module]
I'm planning on getting two Kingston KVR1600 DDR3 8GB (16GB total)
[Graphics Card]
I wish to get MSI N660GTX TF (Because it's more suitable for Hackintosh I wish to build myself besides Windows OS)
[LCD Monitor]
No idea yet so far...
[Casing]
Spot on Silverstone TJ-08-E but hope for cheaper and better alternatives or same price range SFF casing
[Power Supply]
No idea on which shall I choose as I don't know how to calculate how much power I could use.

Budget remaining: RM1100

Added on December 12, 2012, 12:53 pmI don't need any optical drive or others. I just want to build one the exact spec as I mentioned....headache in choosing a suitable casing

You can consider :

Bitfenix Prodigy as a chassis at RM269..

user posted image

Seasonic M12 II 620W PSU at RM349
Dell Ultrasharp U2312HM monitor at RM589

Total - RM1207.It is RM100 more than your remaining budget.Or else, you can pick Enermax NAXN 550W for only RM215.

Get Silverstone SG05-450 instead.... even smaller.... Prodigy is massive for a mini-ITX case.
10.8 litres only (half the volume of the Prodigy)
