@MsPotato

I have put the air cord lemon smell on the Problem Solving section at the end of Post #2 ... Guess nobody see it. I try to re-arrange this then.

Is the special nut refer to chamber nuts ? It should not be so fast need to change. The tyre shop should able to tune back to center position. Guess you may need to find another tyre shops and seek for opinion. I also change my tyre from behind to front and doesn't encounter any problem on this.

@all owners

I hope I can do some mini quiz / games for everyone to participant in this forum... Any suggestions / comments are much appreciated.

It only cut the fuel and sometimes cruising on batteries especially on flat road or downhill... Since our car don't have EV mode...

Honda Insight was introduced to China mainland market...

Same price like malaysia, but highest spec. Some more got shark fin antenna, paddle shirt, leather wrapped steering wheel, and leather seat.

Yesterday worst as driving from Ipoh back to KL taking almost 5 hours.
After long drive, noticed twice the car like engaged at low gear (yummm sound), only goes off when you press the gas pedal, and can smell burning.
1st time after over take a car
2nd time when make a corner from flyover.

Anyone facing such problem?

Second thing is when you use the Auto Cruise, when set at 110KM/h, it goes on / off within 107 – 114KM, it happen even when I set up 90 KM/h, it will goes between 85-95KM/h. Is this normal for Insight?
* Didn’t happen to my CRV.

It is impossible to operate Insight with a totally empty fuel tank. The IMA system is only to assist and cannot operate independantly. Apart from the small capacity of the IMA pack, the IMA motor is a very simple system that can only produce enough torque to operate efficiently at a very narrow speed range, somewhere between 30km/h to 40km/h. Therefore, this car can never start moving from stationary on IMA alone.

Hi, wanted to know more info for the tyres on insight/

Especially for the default rim size, 185/55/R16

The front page only shows the Dunlop and Turanza, is there other choices available? And maybe some pro and cons.

Im looking at michellin xm2 185.55.16? What's the price for it? Anyone here on xm2?

Thanks

it should stay stable at the speed you set when u at even road.
but when there is up hill, it is normal that the speed will drop. if u have econ mode turn on, it will take sometime to return back to the set speed.

Hello fellow Insighter.
I'm considering to buy an Insight. I've tested one today and happy with it. This weekend will go a few showroom and see what are the offers. And probably will place a booking.
I have a question, I see from the honda website that there are a few accessories such as truck tray, foot light etc. Should I get them from Honda or it is easy to get from outside?(I'm from Penang) I assume no warranty will be void for buying a truck tray outside, right?
Thanks

Small problem. Ask Babysmile, he's from penang also, he got lot of Kang Tao (resources).
Trank tray can get it from some accessories shop, cost only RM150 to RM180 only.
