After piston.ring problem which covered by Honda Malaysia... Others was only wear and tear item. Quite durable car since I live in oil palm estate which have really bad road due to that road use for biji besi transportation. Already clock above 200k

Hybrid battery still operating properly until today?

How about battery life depletion? Not able cover longer distance in EV mode compared to in the earlier years of owership?

still running. totally no issue with the hybrid battery even it is about 10 years soon in april 2021 for mine.

insight is not able to operate in EV mode unless prius, so there is no difference.

i dun see any sign of impact of the hybrid battery for my insight, it is still able to assist the car to run at 1.5 litre instead of 1.3 for the engine alone.

My Honda Insight has now clocked 147000 KM. This July 2021 my Honda Insight will be 10 years

So far so good.

My Insight has been most reliable. So far no problems. Only had to carry out the regular maintenance and change my car tyres. Overall extremely happy with it.

same here. other than the aircon problem. no major issue for an almost 10 years old car. totally worth every single cent paid.

it is a common problem for 2011 insight.

but not too bad. close to 10 years car, only one major problem to fix.

Hybrid battery approaching 10 years. Can feel the battery usage is not as optimum as previously. Looks like is running out of juice

A proper diagnostic tool will be able to determine the usable capacity of your current hybrid battery, then can make a decision whether or not to replace it.

anyone has issue on the front head lamp that it is too dim at night?
