Hi Nicety,
I was thinking whether to buy Himedia 5 Pro or a mini PC with intel celeron N3550. Both can play videos (VLC player for PC), Kodi (for PC and android) and even android apps (through bluestacks). Both costs about the same and about the same size.
At the moment I am leaning towards a mini PC because I can carry the mini PC to a hotel or friend's place and hook up to the TV or monitor to access my emails, do work on MS Office or make a powerpoint presentation.
I would also like to watch videos from my hard disk and streaming videos of CNN news, National Geographic and sports.
Which do you think will make a better choice - Himedia 5 Pro or mini PC with Intel celeron N3550?
Is the Himedia's HiSilicon Hi3798C V200 (Cortext A53) quad-core 64-bit processor better than the Intel N3550 in terms of playing and streaming video?
What are the advantages and disadvantages between the two?
Your feedback will help me to make an informed decision in choosing between the two.
i would advice u to separate the two.
it is not just a matter of processor.
mini-pc windows may be good for work, worksheets, presentations, emails - with security.
but typically not good for entertainment apps; most android apps do not hv windows versions.
can play back but video/audio quality average.
android boxes are dedicated to android apps, and in the case of Q5pro, has superior quality playback output.
can read emails but is not as secure as windows.
much cheaper than a mini-pc... 50% of the price?
