Hi Nicety,

Please pm price of Q5 pro with COD Penang.

Can you advise:

1) whether it will work fine with WIFI mode where the router is within the same floor of the room that the tv media box is used?

2) whether it is possible to use the same media box at another house?

Depend on the distance and barrier between your wifi router and your media box located.

One box could use for one hdmi input to one TV. Pls correct me if I don't understand your question correctly.

Dear Customers,

Kodi 17.1 config file already uploaded.
Superbox skin no longer support by Kodi 17. I have replace with closer skin "Mimic".

For Q5 and Q10 Pro box, please double check Wrapper setting to ensure the setting use Kodi player not external player.

Goto MyApps -> wrapper and ensure Kodi player is set.

I read that this wrapper thing has been set from firmware 1.0.5 on wards while my Q5 Pro has 1.0.9 version.

Downloaded it from http://www.mediafire.com/download/00rvha2a...628_Release.apk

Now installed and running fine.

Suggest to include the wrapper apps in your Onedrive for those who do not have in their Himedia.

Thought Android can be upgraded for Q5 and 10 Pro. Mine is still 5.1 version. OK to upgrade my Q5 Pro to 7?

Yes, you can upgrade to 7.

P/S: android version upgrade require fresh and clean upgrade, use the recovery button and all apps will be wide off.

Used Nicety's onedrive files to update my Kodi.

Nicety has pre-installed a number of add-ons (many apps are available in the onedrive folder as well).

Found this Spotify Tube Nicety has installed in Kodi. Find it very good, music and videos. Even they are Latino, Spanish songs and I don't understand a single word, I like the music, the beats and also the sexy girls. Ha.

Best is to line it up to your AVR and the music will be even better. Glad that I bought the subwoofer to get the music a deeper bass.

Nicety, please PM me the price for Q5 pro and payment instructions. As discussed, my old Q10ii that I bought from you no longer can view KODI movie as the recent new movie complaint about my KODI version is 16 and it can only play on version 17. Thanks.

I am using Q5 pro with android 7 futeko 2.0.1 and kodi 17.1. Watching 1080p movie is very choopy and jittery. My old M3 is much better and smoother. Wrapper is already set to kodi video player. My M3 is without wrapper instal.

I'm assuming your old box is with Jarvis 16.1 installed. It can still watch plenty of 1080p movies and drama. You can choose to keep your Exodus or install other add-on such Zen, Genesis Reborn or Openload Movies

If you play the movies offline from HDD, please use media Center, Himedia native player will play the movies smoothly. One of the reason to buy Himedia because it come with native media player and better video audio codec chipset. The native player will optimise the chipset codec which you don't get from generic player like Kodi or MX player.

If you play online movies from Kodi addons, please disable the wrapper. Use the Kodi player for addons playback.

I got a similar choppy problem though I am still with Android 5.1 and Kodi 17.1

Learnt later that was due to my setting on the 2 hardware acceleration. Switch that off and see.

u gotta say what u r playing - online kodi streams or local usb playback via kodi.

online streams - disable the wrapper (i.e. wrapper set to kodi).
disable hardware acceleration (surface)
kodi has changed quite a bit in terms of structure, requirements, features, capabilities, settings, etc. since v17 krypton.

local usb playback via kodi - set wrapper to himedia player.
this option is inferior to using native player direct.
why use less good player when u have a far superior player?
just for the artwork, again...?

What hardware acceleration setting are you talking about.

Funny thing is why my old M3 with only 1gb and older chipset is so smooth.
