I bought a Himedia Q5 Pro from Nicety about 2 weeks ago. I find Nicety has good understanding of the product and is able to provide help very well. Throughout the deal, he has shown good commitment and follow-up. A good seller indeed.
So far Q5 Pro has delivered what it is supposed to. However as I was installing more and more apps, the 8G storage gets filled up very quickly. I have a 8G micro SD card installed on the box but I was unable to move the installed apps to the SD card. Every time after I clicked the move to SD card button, everything looks alright. But on restart the app is not moved at all. Would appreciate if someone can throw some light on these questions:
1. Can apps be moved to the SD Card (jist like in mobile phone)?
2. If apps cannot be moved, how can I remove some of the big apps such as Facebook, Chrome, Skype and Youtube? (I tried uninstalling them but somehow they always get re-installed after restart).

Yes and no. For some apps yes and for some apps no. You can tell whether you can move it or not by looking at the "move to SD" option in the middle of the screen. For the ones you cannot move, it will be grey out, ie, inactive.
When you move to SD, must give it time to complete the task. Don't just click on the move button and do something else.

I have not encountered this. Maybe need to do this at a higher system level. Check the web on how to remove Facebook from android TV box.
Initially I thought I would be facing problems with smaller GB in Q5 as I was using H8 with twice the GB. But so far OK.
Suggest setting up in Kodi first and use apps outside Kodi if you cannot get them in Kodi. Why? Find that external apps are generally big and thus eat up your GB. Apps inside Kodi are generally smaller as Kodi already has the basic functions in there and Kodi apps do not have to include these in their programs.
Need to do some GB cleaning now and then. Just click on the 1st button at the bottom row when you start Q5 (the one with the broom picture).
Good luck!
