i didnt quite understand how quasar works...

like we select the tittle we want to watch, then select option to magnetize, then they will autosearch the torrent rite?
but seems like now downloading/ no downloading progress....
*
No such thing as magnetize.. You only need the two addons and a couple of settings to make it work..Go see page one.. There's a detailed how to. Also, with p2p connections, no sufficient seeders = no downloads..

think u haven't got quasar burst working right.

check if it's current working version of quasar - it comes with quasar burst.

with burst, it is auto - once u select the title, all links will be proposed to u.

u select one and u will see the data info box.

i forgot which version i install...

but i usually search movie from other addon first....

the usually the rarely-watched movie/documentary i want to watch have no stream available....

then i select option for magnetize the tittle....

once magnetize, the available link will pop-up....and usual dialogue for torrent/p2p is on.... probably no sufficient seeders/peers....

i'll try later with more famous tittle/movie first.....

Same here, mine's at least 4 years old and still going strong.. Knocks on wood.. biggrin.gif
SPMC is what Jarvis for Android should have been in the first place.. Can't blame the Kodi devs, as they have been asking for dedicated Android devs to come on board to make it better.. But so far, not so much success.. However, I can confirm that 17.1 is better and has been pretty smooth so far with my needs. Device dependent of course.. YMMV..  smile.gif

I have both Kypton v17.1 & SPMC v16.6 installed in my HImedia box. biggrin.gif

As before... No such thing as "magnetize the title option" in order to use Quasar.. I'm sorry, but you'd know that if you checked out the links on page one of this thread or did a simple video search on YouTube about installing and using Quasar.. Goes like this..
*Install latest Quasar addon.. Usually this also prompts to install the Quasar Burst addon too. Else, install that.
*Go into the the settings of the Burst addon (under programs), choose about 3 popular providers and configure the rest as you want.
*Go into the Quasar addon (under Video addons) settings and configure as desired as well.
*Enable some remote control access in Kodi's main settings area.
*Completely exit Kodi to save properly and launch again.
*Wait for Quasar to autorun in the background and caches to warm up. Only a few seconds from launch.
*Launch Quasar addon... Search or select content... Choose the best seeder/peers ratio.
*Profit!!

I do too.. Previously been using SPMC.. But for the past week or so, forced myself to use just Krypton, testing it thoroughly in the process.. It held up.. biggrin.gif

Same here... I occasionally load a personalized Amber skin.. However, still find myself drawn back to the Estuary skin.. Very smooth and intuitive. thumbup.gif

So ketinggalan zaman...need to read up again, damn

So I was trying to watch an episode of TWD on Exodus, when suddenly I couldn't get a stream. I had tried until the 20th option. First I thought maybe my exodus wasn't up to date, so then I stumbled upon an article saying exodus support for kodi v16 is decreasing and HD links are reducing. I then went ahead and tried to update my kodi to Crypton, only to find out:

My Q5 is on 4.4.2, and Crypton is not supported.

Now there's other options like Zen, Quasar, Skynet, (by reading up on this thread) and was wondering if you guys would recommend which addon is still working great for v16.

And should I look into installing the fork for v16 (read in previous post, FTMX or something), or better of selling (won't be worth much now without kodi support?) My android box and getting a new one?

Just had a baby so out of touch with updates! :s

Just to add to what others have already mentioned..

Install the Jarvis fork... It's basically the same thing, except with the SSL V2 fix included.. Also, Exodus supports autoplay feature... Select that and it'll cycle thru the available links till one plays.. Lastly, real debrid (premium) is a thing.

Yeah just installed Genesis Reborn yesterday, but haven't had time to test it out yet. Maybe this evening. And was reading through from page 130+ onwards, hence knowing a little. Thanks! Was also reading on Quasar, since you guys said the quality was significantly better (but based on seeds).

I have Autoplay setup, but the thing is it cycled until 20+ and then just stopped? I think it gave up biggrin.gif
Anyhow, to install the Jarvis fork, I need to first uninstall right? I can only do that on the weekends, do weekdays habis wifu vmad.gif cannot watch her tv series.

Yeah I was able to live without real debrid for a while, looks like might have to consider now. Any debrids to recommend with good price/performance?

Might need to eventually get a 5.1 Box though hmm.gif
