ya...that is on SC schedule...
just wonder if u guys follow the SC schecule.....

Most of it will be like recommended schedule. Like transmission, I would prefer to change every 10K or 15K. Btw, don't forget your coolant change every 20K too.

If you drive your car with passion, better just give it the best.

I'm looking a new pair of wipers. I want to invest in a good frame and continue to use refills on it.

I was scouting for PIAA, Sparco or SWV. I'm certain PIAA wipers can be refilled, how about Sparco and SWV?

I'm also kind of worried that someone will just steal my wipers off if I use these. It's a few hundred bucks investment.

Stick to cheap wipers, use Rain-X. biggrin.gif
*
I am sometimes tempted to buy a bottle of Rain X to try.

But many reviews on forum, including my parent's isn't good. It requires regular application otherwise wipers will chatter. Also causes hardening of wiper blades.

My stock wiper, I threw it into rubbish bin, SC said no warranty even I complained since first week. Changed to inexpensive aftermarket ones, now I already feel like throwing it away also.

QUOTE(Cavino @ Dec 10 2012, 12:31 PM)
I'm using RainX since 7 years ago on all my cars. The wiper do seems to judder but then I rarely used wiper coz water beads just drop off and drip down straight. When running on higher speed, the drops will beads upwards, no need use wiper. Those drizzles where the droplets in tiny on city roads, I need to use wiper more often. It does not judder all the time tho...

My city using Aerotwin for years, surprisingly no judder at all using rainx. Applied rainx every 6 months or so. Wiper already 2 years old.

My PE also apply same interval. Stock wiper does not judder initially. Only starts juddering after 1 year. So I guess blade harden liao. I will keep using Rainx especially on rear and side windscreens where there is no wiper.

Added on December 10, 2012, 12:34 pmPE service schedule printed from net mentioned stock plug change 10K but both COSE and Bukit Tinggi Klang SC say only change every 20K. So which one is correct?

My 30K service just past, prepare the Iridium Power plugs but since sc say change every 20K, will wait for 40K only change. Intend to use it for 30K period only. Now still wondering spark plug. My original stock plug DO change only at 20K service at COSE last time.

Thanks. I might just get a pair of Bosh Aero twin. Although no silicon, it is very cheap to start of.

QUOTE(TDUEnthusiast @ Dec 10 2012, 12:45 PM)
Ah. Nice info. I guess I may consider those AeroTwin blades after all. I'm scared that it will get stolen though sad.gif.

Aerotwin not expensive enough to attract thieves tongue.gif

I'm getting an oil change now. I realise that some Persona are lower and some higher. Some can fit 4 fingers, some only 3. So happen that mine is lower too.

Yup, car height. I was comparing some new Persona in the SC, still brand new.

What ATF does our Persona use? Can I just curi-curi change the ATF outside? When major maintenance, I'll let Proton change again.

Stock is SP3, and XP-3 is optional, am I right?

Anyone installed before ATF cooler for the Persona? brows.gif. Future ATF cooler bulk?
*
Vccy installed a bigger aftermarket. We have one originally I think. If you're going for intercooler turbocharging, make sure you have space for both before proceeding. biggrin.gif

---------------------
Btw, I don't think Proton SC will do flushing in most circumstances. Just like engine oil, it isn't necessary to flush it every interval if the lubricant is not contaminated (such as flood water). Just my 2 cents, instead of using up to 11L to flush, why don't we just replace the ATF every 10000KM or even 5000KM. At least that's more useful than just flushing fresh oil down the drain.

There are some serious people who does replace ATF in every EO change. I'm not up to that level yet.

Just an unfortunate case. So many of us is using 32 bit ECU. I'm trashing it by intercepting signals too, not fragile

So far haven't heard of fake LM in Malaysia. The physical appearance of the oil is very distinctive.

Might as well look for shan's mini turbo, http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/712191
It looks like shan has some problem with icecube as well.
