regarding the EO, I've already tried for my grilfriend's PE:

1. shell helix 10w-40
2. petronas syntium 10w-40

so far syntium is better when nearing the 7k mark. shell so lousy, u even have to change before it reaches 7k

just bought Liqui-Moly 10w-40, the minyak so gooding i had used it on my family car (proton waja) before this and suddenly that old lady got powah again. like drink tongkat ali or livita something. less engine vibrations oso, noise oso quiet now

gonna send for 20k service this saturday. anybody know how much it'll cost?

semi syn meant for 5k change leh..why drag to 7k?

ya seen the cost, but somehow called Intan Matang SC they quoted me RM370 cost bring own oil. is there any other parts that they didn't change? i forgot to ask.

advisable to change at 5k...unless due to no time to go SC then baru u drag lo...dun purposely drag to 7k...

20k major service important thing to change:
1. engine oil
2. oil filter
3. atf
4. coolant
5. spark plugs (if urs is stock)
6. air filter (if yours is stock)
7. brake fluid
8. drain plug gasket

atf n coolant change every 20k ya...not sure previous service u changed or not

Its still a myth... From my point of view / exp... If car A <100kmph for half a year or 1 year compared to a car B which break in 1 month with >100kmph..

Pro and con is...Car A engine is quiter but pickup slower compared to B which engine a little rough sound but pickup is good.
