QUOTE(Cresie @ Mar 14 2006, 12:42 PM) aiks....so cute both of you I think I know why he bite me already, maybe because he wanted to go to pee/poo but I insisted to play with him. So, nowadays I will bring him to pee/poo first before I play with him. So no more biting. Oh yea, he does barks at me at times, but not that serious anymore.is he still barking and bite ur hand? u gotta beat him if he do that. Dont let him get used to it Sometimes, when I play with him in the garden, and i was like turn away for a while, he quickly run to me and lick my toes and quickly run back to where he was playing. I think he wants my attentions. Owh yea, he buried the toy bone i bought for him behind a pot. Then, buried my sandal also. Hahaz, little naughty thief! Im going to steal his bone later~ This post has been edited by jdreamer: Mar 14 2006, 01:12 PM |

my doggie also like to hide all the chew bones that i gave to him. But he hides them at the corners that we wont notice. And sometimes hides under cars in garage. |

QUOTE(Tainted @ Mar 16 2006, 03:47 PM) Yea, quite well. He is more obedient now, at least he will control his pee/poo times until he see me and thats when I will bring him out to eliminate. Normally, the first thing he does in the garden is to relieve himself. After that, he will roll on the grass, and dig some holes around. Oh ya, he loves to hide behind the pots and peek at me. |

hey, maltese owner here.
she's about 6 months old now, pretty white coat, very active but quite and obedient at times. as for tear stains, well, all maltese has it, and it is particular obvious when the puppy is teething, mine went through that stage, can notice a lot of tear stains during that time, now it is better already. and the ear, the smell is really powerful if not cleaned frequently, the ears flop down so less ventilation, and thus the smell |

For example, housebreaking, those shake hands, sit, stand etc etc ? Mine only knows how to sit, but still when i walk he will run to me. She would even lick her mouth to tell me that she wants what i'm eating. But have to be firm, not everything is good for her |

QUOTE(electron @ Mar 27 2006, 09:40 PM) err... mine not really well trained yet. Mine's even barks at me and can be a very playful at times. When I put him on the sofa with me, he will only stay still for like 5 minutes, after that he will start to explore the sofa although the space for him is so small. Then when he finished, he will try to go to the floor, and when he sees its too high for him to jump, he will started to bark at the ground. Housebreaking is partly there, she would normally pee on the newspaper i put for her. as for poo, well, not yet, but i think poo is easy to clear than pee. she's very active, so it is pretty hard to get her to sit still when i'm around, unless i sit down then she would come and snuggle up. but luckily she learned about when she should bark and when she shouldn't pretty fast she's a real glutton, always begging for side treats, and she has a smirk on her face when she does that. Just to avoid him from peeing on me or anywhere he likes. |

QUOTE(electron @ Mar 28 2006, 08:34 PM) Yea, they are very playful. Anyway, a few command will be a great aid in taking care of dogs really. Mine only knows sit, so nowadays when he's doing something that he shouldnt, like biting the slippers or something, I'll say "No" and then "Sit". He will then sits there looking at me, but then, within a minute, he will continue with the bitings. |
